Me

I am crocheting something for me...well if I like it when it is done.

It is a shawl, using a variegated very thin yarn.   I have a long ways to go.  It is slow going. Many things are slow going these days.

  3. I like that a lot. I am unable to wear orange hues but love seeing them with browns. It will be beautiful and also keep you warm without a lot of weight.

  5. this is awesome...and I know it will be beautiful when finished. I so admire those who can crochet. I truly want to learn how to do this. Am I too old to learn? this is the question! Happy Monday!

  8. Gorgeous colours! You've more patience than I have - I'm to the point where I knit or crochet nothing with fine yarn. And don't get me started on black yarn. :)

  10. I wanting to crotchet a granny square tote bag, but I need to finish the yellow baby blanket first. It’s 95 today so it’s not a good pastime here.

  13. Very pretty fall colors. It doesn't matter how long it takes as long as you're enjoying it. I'm so much slower at everything these days. I don't feel any older, at least until I try to walk across the room and my feet scream at me. I have arthritis in my feet and they always seem to hurt anymore.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  15. It will look great but I can see it will take a while. That is the reverse of when they use to use large needles and huge yarns to knit big bulky things.
