Uffda times two

Wow this little big surgery is kicking my butt.  I managed all the errands in town and then came home to crash for several hours.  Woke up to help with supper and spilled my entire plate of food on the floor.

Uffda...life is sometimes messy.

  4. Oh no...so sorry for the big spill. Our bodies know the stress we feel from such things as this surgery. Hope today is a much better day and that you're healing up well. How long does it take to get the biopsy back? hopefully not long...waiting on the results can also make us weak and exhausted.

  6. If it helps, I've been known to drop my entire plate of food on the floor, even when I haven't undergone surgery. In fact it happened just last week when I thought I'd set it down on the table properly but missed. Maybe I need new glasses.
Take care, get plenty of rest and be patient with yourself.

  13. Sending good thoughts your way for a swift(er) healing for you. I like that you used Ball jars for your flowers. I have some that are wide mouth that I use as canisters. Fun to repurpose because I am totally done with canning!!

  14. I clipped my freshly poured cup of coffee the other day and made a big ol' mess. It sure makes a person wonder why these things happen. I hope you catch a break & feel better soon Connie!!

  18. Sorry that the surgery turned out to be more serious ( as far as recovery is concerned) than was expected. Rest as much as you can. Hopefully soon you'll feel better.

  19. I have had one skin surgery on my face and a small biopsy on my back and was surprised at the pain while healing but it was nothing as invasive as yours. Even though they do these things outpatient which seems in our head to make it less serious, it is still surgery.
Yes - - our bodies will try to stop us so they can have more rest.
So sorry, too, about the plate of food. I don't know about you but a yummy meal is a super great treat to me and I would cry if I was that close to eating it and it disappeared like that - - more of an emotional reaction because of the let down.
