Wow this little big surgery is kicking my butt. I managed all the errands in town and then came home to crash for several hours. Woke up to help with supper and spilled my entire plate of food on the floor.
Uffda...life is sometimes messy.
Far Side
Dropping your plate of food would be so annoying
ReplyDeleteOh no!! Hopefully, things will heal fast and you'll be back to your old self!!

Uffda. Hang in there. Things will get better.
ReplyDeleteOh no...so sorry for the big spill. Our bodies know the stress we feel from such things as this surgery. Hope today is a much better day and that you're healing up well. How long does it take to get the biopsy back? hopefully not long...waiting on the results can also make us weak and exhausted.
ReplyDeleteOh my - take good care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteIf it helps, I've been known to drop my entire plate of food on the floor, even when I haven't undergone surgery. In fact it happened just last week when I thought I'd set it down on the table properly but missed. Maybe I need new glasses.
ReplyDeleteTake care, get plenty of rest and be patient with yourself.
Thinking about you. Take it easy.
ReplyDeleteOh yikes and oh no! I sure hope you get to feeling better. Anytime we go under the knife it is a big deal so hopefully you take it easy this weekend and heal up.
ReplyDeleteWell, you're very week if you can't hold a plate! I hope you recover quickly.
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for you. Food on the floor is like the final insult.
ReplyDeleteHope your feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteGosh, I'm sorry you had another bad day. Hopefully today will be much better. Zoey loves it wlen we spill a plate. It's a race to see who can get the the food fatest. Her or us. lol
ReplyDeleteBLessings,
Betsy
Oh no! So very sorry to hear that. Keep taking those naps and resting up. So glad FarGuy is there to help you.
ReplyDeleteHope the weekend of rest does some good. The weather is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSending good thoughts your way for a swift(er) healing for you. I like that you used Ball jars for your flowers. I have some that are wide mouth that I use as canisters. Fun to repurpose because I am totally done with canning!!
ReplyDeleteGoodnight Gram
I clipped my freshly poured cup of coffee the other day and made a big ol' mess. It sure makes a person wonder why these things happen. I hope you catch a break & feel better soon Connie!!
ReplyDeleteWell, I hope Far Guy cleaned it all up for you.
ReplyDeleteWho knew "spot removal" could be so painful. Be kind to yourself.
ReplyDeleteOh dear.....hope you're feeling and doing a lot better soon!
ReplyDeleteSorry that the surgery turned out to be more serious ( as far as recovery is concerned) than was expected. Rest as much as you can. Hopefully soon you'll feel better.
ReplyDeleteI have had one skin surgery on my face and a small biopsy on my back and was surprised at the pain while healing but it was nothing as invasive as yours. Even though they do these things outpatient which seems in our head to make it less serious, it is still surgery.
ReplyDeleteYes - - our bodies will try to stop us so they can have more rest.
So sorry, too, about the plate of food. I don't know about you but a yummy meal is a super great treat to me and I would cry if I was that close to eating it and it disappeared like that - - more of an emotional reaction because of the let down.
Oh! Gosh! I hope you are feeling better. Prayers for you.
ReplyDeleteOh so sorry you aren't feeling well. We think we're okay until we realize we're not. I pray you heal fast and your tests turn out fine. Hugs!
