I have many things on my list for September...you know all the things I should have tended to before they made the list!
I crossed a few off my list the other day..I returned some photos to one of my cousins and had a nice visit with her, I also dropped off photos my Mom had for the American Legion Auxiliary Historian. I got the car washed...and had some of the eye tests that my eye doc wanted...I still have one more test next week.
Far Guy finished carving this years Christmas Ornament, I did the final quality control check and they are all set to paint.
I am researching ideas for this years Christmas card. I may have to audition a few of the designs I found.
My lawn mowing is done for now, we have hot dry weather and the grass is starting to turn brown. I finished up next door on Monday...it had been two weeks or more since I was there.
and along the back road...

Doesn't it feel good to know you have been able to cross of a few things...Glad you are getting the test done for eyes, and hope you get great results on all of the test. Your place is beautiful and it still looks green, under those big ol' trees. That is a lot of mowing. Glad you got it done. Have a terrific Thursday.
ReplyDeleteI do hope you will show us the Christmas ornaments as well as the cards you choose...❤️
ReplyDeleteThe land is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI have so many Christmas cards that have accumulated over the years...I don't think I'll ever have to make or buy one, ever again! lol

Nice! We put off mowing because of the heat and dryness also. Actually, I don't feel like even doing it.
ReplyDeleteThe pastures could use rain, but I've started feeding hay now that I have a supply, so it doesn't really matter.
I'm ready for some quiet time.
I’m watering trees this week hoping it will be for the last time this year. I’ll probably cut the grass again one more time….I just wish the weeds would quit. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with in the ornament and card department.
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot to mow. I'm not getting much ticked off my list. I started out strong, then faded!
ReplyDeleteI’m a list maker, too. Looks like it was a pretty day for a drive.
ReplyDeleteWith all the appointments you and Far Guy have had, I'm not surprised you were a little behind on your to-do's. Great job on the mowing!
ReplyDeleteI know we won't see the ornaments until after Christmas, but I'm sure they are wonderful.
The yard looks great! We just returned from me begin at the eye doctor. I will be having cataract surgery once they schedule me for some measurements. It's definitely time to do it for sure. Praying for good results - - which most people have but I know a few have had hiccups. Aging doesn't let us have a dull moment, does it?!!!
ReplyDeleteThere's great satisfaction in getting things "on the list" done. I've been known to add a few little jobs that I already finished just so I could tick them off :)
ReplyDeleteI've allowed too many items to languish on my list lately.
ReplyDeleteYou were very productive. I hope this means you are feeling a bit better.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't survive without my lists!
ReplyDeleteYou have lots to do. The card will be perfect I know. I guess that that cleaning and organizing you do is a spring thing.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you got some stuff done and doesn't it feel good to cross things off the list
ReplyDeleteI September list is still long----I can't seem to get myself organized!!! :(
ReplyDeleteI finished up my spring list, now I'm starting on my fall list. Winter is coming!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of things crossed off the list. It's such a good feeling! You and Far Guy stay so busy but it will be holiday season before you know it. Let me revise that; according to the retail stores it's already here. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI don't know where I would be without my lists! You go girl!
