Oh my gosh! That first photo is gorgeous! It looks like it should be on a calendar. Such pretty colors. I'm looking at a very similar golden tree outside our balcony door right now.I wish they could stay around awhile longer. Blessings, Betsy
How pretty!! I think we're at our peak this weekend. By the middle of next week the ash trees will be mostly naked, but for a couple more days we have a lot of gold. The maples have really turned this week - with lots of reds and orange. A trail ride would have been so relaxing.
Do you ever have starting issues with your Polaris? The one on the farm is nearly impossible to start without ether. My dad took it in for a tune up and it started fine for a few weeks and then it was back to the ether. I suspect it might be stale/bad gas since we fill it from a farm tank that probably gets filled once a year and a tank of gas in the Polaris lasts for a couple months.
Ed, We had problems a year ago but it seemed like the issue was a cold battery. Once we tried it enough times to warm up the battery it would start. No issues this year...yet.
What a sweet ride! Our colors are very vibrant right now....but will be gone soon, I'm sure. So glad the snow hasn't come yet for you or for us. I'd like a long drawn-out Fall. Take good care and enjoy more of those Fall rides.

I like the golden leaves very much.

ReplyDeleteEnjoy those colours while you can! Grey and white is just around the corner!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful day!
ReplyDeleteWe really only get gold here (in a variety of shades) so your wee trip was a delight for me
ReplyDeleteThe golden trees make for a bright outlook.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't surprised to see the trees have shed most of their leaves here on my drive to and from my daughter's. It was very windy!
ReplyDeleteWhat was left, was much like yours - past their peak but still lovely.
Very pretty still your way. Those golden leaves are hanging in there. :)
ReplyDeleteSuch nice photos I liked them
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWe are slowly going gold here too.
