Record of house washing

Far Guy washed the house on August 14th.  The warranty that came with the company that refinished our home stated that the house should be washed every year in July or August for the warranty to be in effect for ten years. It should be washed with a normal garden hose to remove all the pollen and dirt.

Far Guy took a photo with his phone.

House washing August 14 2023.

Yesterday was a very warm day 85 F or 29 C eh!  Unseasonably warm for October.

We warmed up slightly and I should have been outdoors doing yard work. But there were other chores on my list. This weekend is looking quite good.. I'll have no excuse then.
Enjoy the heat while it lasts.

That looks like really good water pressure! Today is supposed to be the last of the heat. Let us hope.

I think your house is just beautiful. I have always wanted to live in a log cabin. Today our temp is finally supposed to lower from the 90's to the 70's or low 80's, along with some rain which will be very welocme if it doesn't decide to disintegrate before it gets here.
Blessings,
Betsy

I suppose with that siding, the dirt and pollen could collect in the grooves and then become sponges.

Our house got power washed recently and it sure needed it. The dust and dirt from the street in front and the construction in the back had a lot to do with it.

Love the look and the color of your house.
We had a record yesterday--for the highest LOW temp of the day. 10 degrees higher than normal. 90 degrees is too warm for me in the summer, let alone in the fall--lol!

That's a good way to keep a record.
We are cold here, cloudy, drippy, and 55, but the forecast is for 70 by the weekend. 70 sounds good. It was an abrupt end to summer here.

Tim will from time to time hose the house down but that is the closest it gets to being cleaner on the outside.

I've not heard of anyone having to do that before - but then, we don't seem to have warranties like that either. We try and wash our place every couple of years, just to keep it looking good :)

Your home is so lovely!

It is in the 80's in Northern Ohio too but we are headed to the 50's for the weekend.

One more thing to cross off the to-do list! We have been doing the same, cold weather is around the corner.

Hope that pollen doesn’t make him sick.

I bought a new power sprayer last summer and cleaned the whole house in four or five days. It changed the color of the house. Today my 82 year old neighbor guy is spraying a solution on his vinyl siding and scrubbing it with a brush. I am glad Far Guy only has to spray it down and document it. We get mold on our vinyl that is in the shade. It sure makes your house look great.

The house looks great. I love the color. We had the same temp as you but it is supposed to cool off now.
