Flowers

In town they plant baskets of flowers every year, people and businesses can sponsor them.  They are cared for by the people who sell them.

I wonder sometimes about the color combinations.

This year they seem heavy on the purple.

Not much new here.

My Mom was moved to a private room in the Nursing Home and my siblings got her sewing machine out of storage.  So she can sew if she wants to.   I have not felt good enough to visit her lately.

I am feeling exhausted.  The pain from RA is very much like the pain from Lymes except it just doesn't give up.   Did you know that Chronic Lymes or Lyme Arthritis can turn into Rheumatoid Arthritis?  Neither did I.  I get the normal household stuff done but not much else.

Far Side

Oh no...I didn't know that but it does make sense since Lymes does seem to attack all of the joints.
Our town does the same thing with the flowers and they are usually these colors or similar.
They are pretty noticeable.
Purple and yellow were my college colors!

I'm sorry RA has you down. I hope you are feeling better soon. Glad mom has access to her sewing machine.

All you can do is what you can. I've been feeling guilty doing nothing with my ankle. It is difficult trying to rest. Take care.

I'm sure it is a relief to have your mom settled.

Your RA sounds very horrid - I do hope you can find some relief. My mom suffered with chronic pain and it made life difficult.

Bless your heart! Wish we could find cures for all our aches and pains but life is what it is, I guess.
I am a purple fan so I love the hanging basket.

Many hugs to you. I know they really don't help. But, maybe they do help your heart a little

I'm sorry this is happening to you. Chronic pain can suck the life out sometimes. It's good your mom can sew, it makes the transition easier for her. I love purple and yellow petunias together!

I'm so sorry that you are plagued by so much pain now. You are such a doer and giver and now it's so hard to just be you.

I had no idea that Lymes could turn into RA. I wish there was a medication that could help you ( and everyone else with either of those illnesses).

Some of the chronic conditions can slow us down and make life not pleasant.

I'm so sorry that you are feeling so miserable. Glad your mom has her sewing machine now. Our downtown has a similar arrangement with flowers, although I'm not sure who maintains them. This year they all seem to be pink petunias.

So sorry to hear the RA won't give you a break. Constant pain is so exhausting. :(

Glad your mom will have some privacy and her sewing machine.

I like the purple and yellow together. Could be they had to take what was available. I tried to get blue but it was purple that was available this year. Not that I mind purple. ;) Flowers are so beautiful I will take whatever colors I can get. :)

I hope you have a better week this week. *hugs*

Those flowers are just my colors. And I'm sorry you're not feeling any better yet, but got fingers crossed for that to change any day now.

I sure hope there is a turn around time soon. I found some things about my double diabetes and I don't like where it can lead me. Pain is real and I hope somehow there is something you can take to give you some relief. I had a friend with the Lymes and it took them forever to diagnose it.

Oh dear, I'm so sorry to hear about your exhaustion and pain. It sounds so awful. I hope that things will somehow get better for you soon, so you can stand it. So it has a connection to Lyme Disease. Yikes. I recently spent time in the hospital with blood poisoning....they said that 50% of the people who get that, die. I'm not sure why the good Lord is keeping me around but I accept that and wait to see what the rest of life brings. Praying for you Connie...may things get better for you soon.

I didn't know that about Lymes and I'm so, so sorry that you're having to deal with it. It seems to have been such a hard and painful summer for so many people this year.
I'm happy for your Mom to have her own room and be able to have her sewing machine. I can imagine that makes her much happier.
Lots of smaller towns around Spokane had baskets around town like that. I always enjoy seeing them.
Praying for you my friend.
Blessings,
Betsy

I did not know that but I know when I first got it they thought it might be Lyme disease. I pray your meds kick in soon as I know how painful it can be.
