Car Show

It was  a good day to go to a Car Show.   It was warm in the sunshine so the shade of a tree to sit in our chairs was welcome.  We got to visit with neighbors, old friends and relatives.

There were 300 cars there.  The dark Blue Mustang belongs to our friend Judy.

I was quite smitten with the Edsel.

It was a fun afternoon /evening out.

Very pretty cars. I'll always have a soft spot for a Mustang. I've never owned one but always wanted to.

I really do enjoy a classic car show. And what a beautiful location there by the lake. Glad you had some fun.

That does look like a really fun time! My favorite is the Mustang. I had a brand new 1981 Mustang for a few short years. It definitely wasn't a family car. Now I don't think I could get in or out of one. :-)
Blessings,
Betsy

Old cars seem so much classier than the new ones. And they darn sure were built to last. When I see all the non descript grey cars on the road I sometimes wonder if they will even be remembered in 20 years let alone 70 years. Well, most likely they will all be in the scrap heap because they are built to be disposable.

I like the Edsel, too. Good you were able to get out and enjoy the day.

I can’t imagine 300 cars. What treat! Got my farm book and am loving it. Trying to read it slow.

I didn't know the Edsel hood opened from the front.

My dad drove an Edsel for about two years when I was quite young.

I like classic cars too. Could it be because back then we were young?

They are all so fancy. I miss that styling but driving it was like driving a boat. The Chefy is beautiful.

You don't see many Edsels. Neat!

Love those old cars! We see a lot of them in the summer, cruising the Ocean Highway.
