The local Car Show that Far Guy's Car Club sponsors was yesterday.
Lots of people out and about. We got to visit with a number of old friends, classmates and relatives.
Tilly was the only Desoto present.
Here are some views of Main Street. The weather stated out a bit chilly and warmed up to mid 70's before noon. No smoke in the air or rain...so it was a good day to be out.
After the car show we ran a couple of errands in town, picked up a pizza for supper and came home and had a long nap.

Looks like a great show! I tried to get hubby to go to a local show. He didn't want to go with his 02, stubborn man!
He would have forgotten all about it and enjoyed the cars!

I love old cars- but rarely get a chance to see them all in a car show. I can't imagine cooler weather right now. Have a wonderful Sunday!

Looks like the town that Back to the Furture was filmed in.
That looks like a great car show. DH and Youngest Son went to a nearby car show on Friday evening but they said there were only 14 cars displayed and were a bit disappointed. They went right when it started and they figure they'll try again maybe wait until later in the evening?? During the summer apparently it is on every Friday.
The cars are spectacular. The weather makes me dream of those temperatures here. Almost 100 and humid here.

Dad had a 57 chev. I learned that it could get up to 95 mph.

Sounds like a really pleasant day. It was cool and rainy here today but I stayed busy with laundry and sewing.
Those cars are so neat looking. A great day for you both! It was cooler today with some rain passing through. It's supposed to start getting really hot again on Tuesday.
