This one cannot be opened but is anticipated. We know what the gift is but we don’t know exactly when it will arrive. Some time in the spring and before summer…possibly in May.
It’s a boy!!
I took a photo of the photo that appeared on Facebook.
Grandma Trica called us to tell us the news and we were sworn to secrecy until Maddie could get the photo up on Facebook. Everything looks fine with the baby.
That is what we want a healthy Great Grand! I knew the name they had picked for a girl (Klair/Klare), but I am not sure they had discussed a name for a little boy.
Now we can shop for boy stuff.
Friends of mine are expecting another baby. They were so sure it was going to be another boy. Absolutely sure. Oh yes, definitely another boy. Then they went for the scan.
ReplyDeleteYes, you guessed: it's going to be a girl! I never so anyone quite so stunned and euphoric as the father. Due on April Fool's Day. Let's hope she'll be early. Or late.

ReplyDeleteThat is a nice way to announce that it is a boy! Just recently my nephew and his wife announced that they were having a girl at the baby shower. The inside of the shower cake was pink! Until then none of their friends had been told.

ReplyDeleteStarting out with a boy great grandson is a good start. It will be such a joy to have a great grandchild. Some people have big baby showers and then they announce the boy/girl information.
