Yes, my feet have been getting just a little tired..and when they do I hobble over to this display and suddenly my fat little feet feel wonderful again. My toes are free as little birds and I can wiggle them all around inside my crocs!
I bet these would be even too pointy toed for Stacy..of the “What Not To Wear” show. What kind of weird deformed toes would fit in there anyway..my feet and my fat little toes would be screaming after just a minute or two in these torture shoes..and then to walk in those heels all lady like without tripping over my own feet..now that would be a challenge:)
I know what you mean. I don't get how people can wear heels of any sort.
And those pointy toes? What masochist designed those anyway?
Have a great weekend!
These are what we call Granny boots ! waaayyy to pointy for me to. I wear cowboy boots , biker boots, runners or slip ons all comfy for me.That Granny boot style is from pioner days.
Dont know how women in the old days squeezed into the cloths or shoes that they did. Have a wonderful day !
Vanity! What people won't do. :)
I hope you put your feet up today and rest - you've had a busy week! Maybe next week you will be inspired and figure out the telephone answering machine!
What a nice thing to do: look at torture shoes to make your own feet feel better. I'll bet they took one look and promised to behave! :-)
Call me weird but I've always been fascinated with the history of shoes. I"m like you, I can't imagine squeezing my feet in one of those!
How did poor women manage to do anything in those shoes???
I'm a Croc person, too. I cringe when I see boots or shoes like you have shown. I stare at the girls wearing those incredibly tall heels and my feet just ache.
One of the best things about you working at your new job is the good pictures we will see. I have started wearing 'Shape-Ups' by Reebok. They make my back and knee feel ache-free.
That is the main reason women did not live very long...and I use to think it was all the child birthing!
When young I could ware high heel shoes didn't care about the pain. Not any more!
Those Granny Boots are pointy enough to cut off the circulation to the brain. Ouch!!!
I love heels but they gotta be comfy! No shoe is worth pain in my book.
Have a great day sweetie! :o)
I spent well over 30 years wearing heels for work. I love them. But, now, they don't love me. I will confess, though. that I'm pretty sure they were invented by a man.
Did all women have really skinny feet back then?
Good grief, my wide feet hurt just looking at those:(
I know for sure I couldn't handle the fashions of yesteryear!
I love the looks of those fancy pointy, high heeled shoes - the ones you see women wearing on TV but not so much in real life. I need lots of toe room and can barely stand a little heel.
I used to think those shoes would be cool to have and to wear...then I found CROCS. I so agree with you!
