I had quite a few flowers that should have been all done suddenly rebloom and really take off! I've even had some new plants come up from seed in the wildflower garden that I thought would come up next spring. One thing at least is that you can enjoy them twice a year?
That is God's special gift to you especially after the happenings of the last post. Each day of course is a gift from Him and His mercies are new each morning. Thank you for sharing them with us!
OH my gosh! I am sitting here in my pjs pouting about my sore arm from my covid booster and flu vaccine. Now I am going to get dressed and check all my lilac bushes!!!!!
Quite a few of my spring bulbs are sprouting. I think it's because we had a week of much cooler weather, then back to summer warmth - and they got all confused!

ReplyDeleteI’ve read of others having this occur. Wow! Just enjoy that aroma, a gift💜
ReplyDeleteSo strange to see lilacs blooming in the fall. And especially as the leaves are falling. But it's like a little gift to have those blooms now.

ReplyDeleteWow, I have never seen lilacs bloom at this time of the year. Hope they have their great smell too. Lucky you.
ReplyDeleteIt is like my daylily pulling off a new stem with blooms.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen that with lilacs. Several years ago, I think some cherry trees were trying to rebloom in the fall. Maybe I should look at my lilacs?
ReplyDeleteOurs have done a weird after drought bloom twice now this late summer. What a year. I wonder if there are going to be any blooms next spring.
ReplyDeleteLast year we had turned out heat on before this time to knock off the chill. We've not had the heat on yet for this coming cold weather season.
