Fall work

I think I am done with leaves for the year.  The ones in the woods will stay put especially if we get snow.

My mower had a problem but Far Guy fixed it ...mostly and put new blades on it and washed all the dust off of it and put it away in the garage.

It is good to have the leaves done. I celebrated by vacuuming out the car.

The mowing was hard on my left hip and leg...I am having an MRI next week.  I am still going to PT once a week and doing exercises daily.

  1. I know it feels great to have this done. I need some of your energy as our leaves are just now beginning to fall and we have so many that will need to be mowed. Hope you get some good clear answers from the MRI.

  2. Yes, since you still are having issues, the MRI should give a better picture of what is going on.
We are going to have rain this afternoon so that should settle the dust around here. Apparently the storms could get nasty.

  3. I am glad to learn they are going to do an MRI and see if they can find out what's causing your pain. Also glad to hear you are done with the leaves already.

  4. I'm glad the mowing is over and done with for another year. We still have a lot of leaves on trees around here and with the winds yesterday they blew every which way.
Today is noticably cooler than when I went to bed last night. Like 25 degrees cooler. I think fall may have really arrived.
Good luck with the MRI. I hope it shows what the issue is so it can get fixed.
    Blessings and hugs,
    Betsy

  5. I'm sure you are glad to put that mower away for the season. We still have a LOT of leaves to fall around here, but Dave goes out most afternoons with the mower to mulch and pick them up. I'm actually hoping for snow - to knock down the allergy triggers.

  8. There comes a time with fall cleanup that you just have to say, "I'm done."

  11. It is hard when our bodies no longer allow us to easily do things we used to do without thinking. Hopefully, next year someone else will be able to do the leaves for you.

    1. I will start mowing my leaves now as we are going to go into the deep freeze. Our leaves are not off the trees yet.

  13. I still have to mow my leaves. You’re lucky you have far guy. I had battery, oil change and new blades on my mower. Cost $650.00

  18. Good for you with the leaves and yard work done. I hope that eases your hip and leg pain. It's a full time job between pills. appointments, and exercising! At least for me it is.
