I joined yet another crochet along...when I have two unfinished CAL's already. Oh well winter projects!
This is week one of the new CAL, I am not following the color suggestions...I am making it all different colors. This will be a large blanket.
I am working on week two, then there is week three and four will be released on Thursday.
So I am behind. I swear the other ladies must crochet non stop.
Yes I take my crochet projects along in the car, I crochet when Far Guy drives and I crochet while waiting. I usually take a project when we go to appointments. Soon this crochet project will be too large to take along.
Far Guy and I are working on lots of Fall Projects. Keeping busy.

ReplyDeleteI love this pattern & your color choices!! Especially the red square aztec-y line with brown surround. Hope you show it to us again as you progress/finish.
ReplyDeleteNothing better than keeping busy. Wish I would get back to crocheting. It was very relaxing.
ReplyDeleteFall Projects! I worked on painting some of the little doll house furniture I got yesterday. I am going to use my old wooden boxes to make a 'house' I can use for my tiny characters. The items I did receive were painted pink.
ReplyDeleteI should make a new quilt for our bed to spruce things up.
Projects! They are good.
love that crochet pattern! I took a quilting class once where we were making four pillow tops over a two month period I thought I was doing well as I headed into class for week two. By week three I was ready to drop the class. Then I decided if I just did quilt top 1 and 3, I might not keep up, but at least I would be far enough that I could finish two of the pillows on my own. This class was in the good old days of Adult Education classes in the evenings.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty pattern. I like the fall colors. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is very pretty. I've always liked having handwork to do in the car if someone else is driving.
ReplyDeleteThat is going to be a gorgeous blanket!
ReplyDeleteI love your colors! And the complexity of the stitch is amazing.
ReplyDeleteI like the colors you are using, it reminds me of the autumn colors against the blue sky (or perhaps mountains in the distance. Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteI could never do a CAL - though I have used a pattern once they've finished. :)
I love that pattern. You are certainly talented at crocheting! That will be a beautiful blanket!
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous, Connie... and I love the colors you have chosen. ~Andrea xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteI really like your color choices. It looks like the southwest! I have only 4 projects going right now. That's plenty. I always try to have something small like dishcloths or socks for waiting rooms. I'm almost looking forward to being stuck inside all winter.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Looks good
ReplyDeleteYour color choices are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI am playing with fabrics to make quilt blocks, but now I need to use any dry time to get outside. Our tulip bulbs have arrived and there is lots of clean up to do before we can plant them.
That is really pretty. I also love the colors, especially the Aztec looking red one.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely blanket that you're working on.
ReplyDeleteYour crochet projects are beautiful. I love the new one you're working on. You two are the busiest people I know, with lots of projects always going. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteThe colors are great and the design is so great. I will be watching for its completion photo.
ReplyDeleteNice to have plenty of projects to keep you busy.
ReplyDeleteI hear you! So much going on, I don't know how some people churn out all those projects!
ReplyDeleteLovely blanket! That's exactly why we start new projects...because they get too big to cart along.
