New Yarn

A new yarn order came in so I started a new project.

It is slow going as it is a new to me mosaic pattern.

Spring house cleaning continues...one more day and I will be done in the living room....all that remains is to move a couch and an area rug and scrub the floor underneath them.  Then I will move along to a different area of the house...maybe.   It feels good to have some heavy duty cleaning done.  One room is a start...no windows will be done at this time...well not on the outside anyways.

Our snow is slowly melting.  We had a high of 35 F yesterday!!

Today is grocery adventure day.

Glad you are feeling well enough to get things done. When I did my deep cleaning last month I leaned the inside of the windows as I went from room to room. Doing the outside of the windows is on this month's project list.

I too am glad to hear you're feeling well enough to continue your spring cleaning. And I look forward to seeing this new mosaic pattern, eventually. :-)

I can't wait to see the new project! Good luck on the grocery adventure. Our state opened the vaccine to our age group today. I played the re-dial game for our local health department and got both of us in for a drive thru clinic on March 13. We could have gone this weekend to a grocery store pharmacy two counties away, but that was my back up plan. Since we can't trust the weather, I am glad we can stay more local. Our 18 inches of snow has melted and we had temperatures in the high 50's yesterday. Today the high is a balmy 32, but I can't trust this will hold for the second shot.

I should be cleaning around here but just can't get motivated. However one sign of spring - I saw a big male cardinal at my feeder yesterday morning. I haven't seen any all winter. They are scarce around here anyway. We hear them more than we see them.

For some reason Blogger isn't letting me comment. SO here we go again: I always get excited when I get new something for a craft...the possibilities are endless!

Those are such pretty yarn colors and I'm looking forward to seeing your new project.
Spring cleaning for me will be washing the RV windows on the outside once it's done snowing. We had a temp of 62 yesterday! WOW!
Blessings,
Betsy

Your industriousness makes me feel like I should be cleaning, or something useful, but, well, maybe not quite. I'll blame my lack of productivity on my impaired mobility. Actually I'll be glad when I can't use that excuse anymore.
You go, girl!

Great choice of colors. It will look great. I got a dining room chair repaired today that made me feel successful. It had been in the to do pile for a long time in my shop.

I've been wanting to try that Scheepps(?) yarn. Let me know how you like it. It's cotton isn't it? This is going to be a mosaic blanket? I can't wait to see it!
