The Chickadees love Peanut Butter.
As you can see, Far Guy cut windows high into the jar and let the bottom flop down...that made a support for the stick he stuck through for the little birds to rest their weary feet.
Simple things make great bird feeders.

I love this.
That is ingenious!
I want to remember this!
I didn't know chickadees love peanut butter. This is great! :-)
Clever idea and a wonderful way for the birds to get some long lasting protein.
Such a great idea. I think I will try this next winter.

WOW! What an excellent idea!
Great idea, as long as you can keep the squirrels away.
Will use this idea next year, thank you!
Really clever! :)
Brilliant! I wonder if they prefer creamy or chunky?
We use creamy:)
Great idea. I will show it to Tom.
So creative! I wonder if we have chickadees in Kansas?
What a great idea!
Great idea. Yes, chickadees really like peanut butter. I drilled 1 in holes in a log and put peanut butter in the holes.
What a good idea
Another project and an easy one too. Thanks.
I learned something new today! Thank you for sharing!
Nice way to reuse something plastic.
Great idea! And a relatively inexpensive way to feed the birds.
This is a great idea. I put out my finch feeder yesterday but nothing seems to be happening. Maybe the house finches will eat.
That's a neat idea! Hopefully you are using peanut butter that is made from only peanuts.
A great and simple idea for our little birds. Our move went well and I am slowly catching up with blog friends.
What an awesome idea!
Genius! I hope none of them are allergic to peanuts!
What a great idea!
