Finally took the Valentine flag down and put up the Eagle flag.
Cooked for friends yesterday, we usually get together with them once a month. Chili and flatbread was on the menu. They are patient friends and understand when Far Guy is not feeling good enough to meet with them. They are both awesome cooks...but my Chili is pretty good too!
We still have plenty of snow but with nice temperatures this week we may get out the patio table!
Far Side
Always nice when you can get together with friends.
ReplyDeleteI like your new header and am glad to see sunshine in your pictures. :-)
ReplyDeleteSetting a regular meeting time with friends is important. I bet your chili is tasty.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you have friends for support and fellowship. Hoping the Old Guy is feeling a little better today. A chili supper sounds delicious!
ReplyDeleteVery nice thing to do.
ReplyDeleteWhat would we do without good friends? Love the eagle flag...
ReplyDeleteHaving warmer temperatures is WONDERFUL!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely and sunny.
ReplyDeleteGood friends always understand. ;)
ReplyDeleteSpring seems to have arrived.
I like your eagle flag. We saw one here just yesterday. We are a block off the bay and they soar over our front yard now and then. Taking a break from fishing, i guess. Hope your spring weather continues.
ReplyDeleteI like the eagle flag
ReplyDeleteSounds good, chili and flatbread. I made chili and cornbread last week. Leftover chili for dinner tonight, no cornbread left. Darn.
ReplyDeleteI hope the weather continues to be agreeable and you can take your patio table out
ReplyDelete( and maybe even use it).
Yes it is time to bring this flag out. That is a wonderful scene that was designed well. My wife doesn’t like chili so I get it when we eat out.
ReplyDeleteSpring is on the way! It was warmer here over the weekend too and we were even able to get out for a nice long walk on Saturday. Unfortunately, clouds have returned but the temperatures are still in the 40s, so I’ll take it. Everyone says I make a pretty good chili too. It’s often requested when we have company.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
I always enjoy your pretty flags. Thankful your weather is improving. Your chili sounds very good to me.
ReplyDeleteThe Eagle flag looks pretty especially with the blue and white background. Hope you do have a nice week and can enjoy the patio table.
ReplyDeleteHow nice to have get togethers like that...I bet your chili is good!
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking about getting out the Easter/spring decorations, but I don't know if I havve the energy. Maybe I'll wait until it's April.
ReplyDeleteI am lucky too to have friends that understand when Rich doesn't feel like company. He can just go to bed and everyone is considerate. Love the flag!
