I have packed up a boatload of craft stuff and headed up north to babysit Little Elvis and Miss Miney and keep Adam company during the storm.
Far Guy will stay at home where he is most comfortable. I will keep a close watch on him through Facetime.
Perhaps Adam and I can have some quality cooking/baking experiences. We can make big messes in the kitchen when we are unsupervised!
Far Side
Have fun, and stay safe.
ReplyDeleteHave fun grandkids are the best
ReplyDeleteLooks like you've got a lot of thyme there. ;) Have fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Are those your old spice tins? I've held on to some I used to use when they came out with the plastic. I saw a cute shadow box the other day I pined on Pinterest using old kitchen utensils and tins like yours. Have a great time! Stay safe on the roads!
ReplyDeleteI'll second all these wishes for you to stay safe and have a good time. :-)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
ReplyDeleteHave fun! Be safe. Hope it's not a terrible storm.
ReplyDeleteSafe travels, sounds like you're in for some great fun!
ReplyDeleteI really like FaceTime. Our youngest grandson lifted our spirits a few evenings ago with ornery smiling face. We also got to see him run around the room like he does and pop up on the screen close enough to see his teeth. There must be something you can bake
ReplyDeleteCooking is such a fun and companionable occupation for two. No more though. I am sure the mess will remain manageable. Have fun. And stay safe.
ReplyDeleteOH! Have FUN!
ReplyDeleteI'm interested to see what you make with those ingredients, lol!
ReplyDeleteAntique shop photo!
DeleteEnjoy... and have a wonderful time. Love, Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your dog time. Adam always appears to be wonderful company, too. ;)
ReplyDeleteHave fun. Drive carefully.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time with Adam, Little Elvis and Miss Miney. It is always good to get one on one time with a grandchild.
ReplyDeleteI "baked" today...made everybody stuffed bell peppers. That's kinda baking I guess. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a great time!
ReplyDeleteYou have everything going your way. Enjoy your time.
ReplyDeleteLorelei and I make some messes in the kitchen, too. She loves cracking the eggs!
ReplyDeleteAnxious to hear about what you baked - some good down time during the storm crafting and with good company.... good plan during a storm!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! Enjoy your visit with Adam and mix up some delicious things while you're there! Have fun with the pups too. Hope Far Guy will be oky dokey while you're gone!
ReplyDeleteI hope you will enjoy your visit. Share your cooking experiments with us!
ReplyDeleteSounds like some fun was had
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like good baking weather in Minnesota this weekend. Nice to have a young guy to appreciate all the calories!
ReplyDeleteNeat old tins. I have a lot of them that are ancient.
