Enjoy your mini-vacation. The dog certainly helps! We here in SE Michigan are seeing much of the snow melt, but that's because we've had a day of freezing rain and it's windy and 35. No fun. Crafting inside sounds like a good idea! Have fun and a safe trip home when it's time.
Looks like some snow still on the dog, who must have just come in from the snowy outdoors. I'm glad you are calling FG often, so he doesn't think you've forgotten him! :-)
How far did you have to drive to go and see Adams and the pups? Hopefully you can stay put until roads clear up and you're ready to head back home. Sounds like a nice relaxing time. Have you guys made any delicious foods or yummy treats? I bet you're enjoying those dogs too. Hope all is well with the guy back home!
A Facebook friend posted photos of new snow in Eden Prairie this morning. She was still able to appreciate the beauty of it all, but I don't know if I would be.
Thanks for stopping by! I appreciate your comments! If you have a question I will try to answer it here. I no longer accept anonymous comments. All comments will be approved before posting...due to spammers...may the fleas of a thousand camels infest every hair on his body. Connie
Sounds like a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteThis was some wet heavier snow this last time. I've got 3 and 4 foot drifts on my patio!
Awww at least you get some doggy time too! We got some wet stuff yesterday and lots of rain and ice slush now on the driveway. Blowing like crazy too!
ReplyDeleteI'll bet they are delighted you are there! And that Far Guy misses you much!
ReplyDeleteA change of scenery is always nice especially with grand dogs and a grandson. Far Guy will be happy to get you back.

ReplyDeleteI bet you are having fun with two dogs to spoil for a while!
ReplyDeleteA mini-cation is good when one doesn't have the time or money for a longer break
ReplyDeleteI do not envy you the snow!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your visit, hope spring will soon arrive for you! Our sons live in the midwest, they are ready for the snow to leave too!
ReplyDeleteblessings,

ReplyDeleteIt’s the winter that is never ending. More snow here predicted for Tuesday. Blessings, Betsy
ReplyDeleteLooks like the dog was under the snow. LOL
