I am still up North with Adam, Miss Miney and Little Elvis. I have been working on cards and knitting. Noah and his gal made supper for us last night, a mac and cheese dish.
I have started more socks. Imagine that.
I will head home in the next day or two, Far Guy is lonely...FaceTime is like almost being there but not quite.
Far Side
More socks...and more cards!
ReplyDeleteI bet FarGuy really misses you. FaceTime is not the same, but it is really nice. :)
I love the cards. They all look so pretty. I can just imagine how much Far guy misses you.
ReplyDeleteHome made cards are WAY better than store bought
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Far Guy will be glad to have you home. Nice you've been keeping busy and working on some of the projects you want to do while you were with Adam and the dogs though.
ReplyDeleteMore socks - I love it!
ReplyDeleteYour cards are lovely! And good for you making socks Again!
ReplyDeleteLove the socks! Who has three feet? 😉
ReplyDeleteThe cards are lovely! And I'm with Bonnie, three socks?
ReplyDeleteI would feel like I'm on a mini-vacation. All of us need that from time-to-time. Enjoy the last bit of time you have there, Connie. Love, Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteFar Guy has reached his limit of being alone. Maybe it will be warmed up a bit as you head home
ReplyDeleteI think we are all ready for spring!
ReplyDeleteThose socks look really warm.
My mom used to make scones, they had currants in them and she brushed the tops with milk and sprinkled a bit of sugar on them. I remember taking them for my school lunch many times when we ran out of bread for sandwiches.
Pretty, pretty cards. And I’m confused. Three socks? Are you planning on a fourth so you have two matching pairs? Ha! Blessings, Betsy
ReplyDeleteHey that's a lot of cards!
ReplyDeleteSuch nice cards
ReplyDeleteNice cards!
ReplyDeleteYou did it! Your socks look great! And you're off on another pair already. Fun to see that you did it! Congrats. Hope all is well 'up north'.
ReplyDeleteFacetime is not a warm hand to hold that is for sure!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your cards! Socks are going to be nice.
Yes, it's nice to visit via FaceTime, but it's just not the same as being there. Glad you're heading home soon, but you sure did get a lot done! :-)
ReplyDeleteHave a safe trip back. I'm sure Far Guy will be very happy to have you back home.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice visit you've had and even had a nice meal prepared for you too! Lucky you! Looks like you've been keeping nice and busy. Your cards look pretty! I'm sure Far Guy misses you. My hubby is gone overnight tonight and I'm lonely too. Travel safely back home.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful cards! Do you draw those or are they stamped? You're doing better on your socks than I am. They are going to get frogged. I need step by step explicit directions about things....once I understand I'm good to go but I am not 'good to go' on these socks! LOL! Oh well, I'll go back to my vanilla sock recipe that I don't have a problem with. Drive safely going home!
ReplyDeleteThey are stamped! I am not sure I coulkd do a different sock pattern maybe in a couple of years!
