Guess Where?

I know that my readers are smarter than average, therefore I am sure that you are going to guess where we were last night.

Guess Where we were One

I will leave you two clues.

Guess where two The weather is cool here, it only rained twice  yesterday..usually by this time in August our lawn if you can call it that has gone dormant.  Not so this year, it is still growing strong.  It dipped into the 50’s last night and our high today will not make 70 degrees.  It feels like Fall.  I saw some geese flying south the other day:)

Your hot weather came up here to the Pacific Northwest. Today it will be close to 90, yesterday 88. Both are record heat for the area. And I am sorry to say I haven't got a clue as to why you have a superman drum and a strange elbow encased in... what?

I have no clue either except I think it might be a Native American Festival of some sort judging by the second picture.

Hi:
I live in Minneapolis MN and we here have started to get cooler nights - and Fall is deinitely in the air. This last week we had very high humidities and temperatures in the 90s. So fast we can go from very hot to cool here in the Northern Plains.

Much cooler here in Wyoming, too. I LIKE it!

From the photos, it looks like you went to a Pow Wow. The drummers with the Superman drum must be very good. I've never seen a turtle shell on a dancing costume, so please share details.

We went to a pow wow in Grand Portage a few years back and it was very enjoyable. This was Ojibwa but many other tribes showed up to support it.

You were obviously at a Superheroes' Convention as I spotted Superman's drum kit and a shell belonging to one of the Ninja Turtles...

At first I was going to say you went to a High School or College Band Competion!

......But I really think it was to an American
Indian PowWow - Dance - Celebration?

A superhero gathering? Your weather sounds wonderful although I can't complain. Nothing but highs in the 70s, lows in the 50s with no humidity. Absolutely a long stretch of beautiful weather which is most unusual. Usually we are under the threat of a freeze by now. Even the leaves so no sign of turning. I'll take this gift of good weather and savor it.
I sure wish I could have gone to your mysterious gathering because it looked like fun.

No clue, but pow wow sounds like a good guess.

It did get so suddenly cool that it felt like fall. Had noisy gaggles of geese flying overheard here in Fargo, too. :)
