Sunny Day

Yesterday was a sunny warm for Minnesota day...about 55F

I took the day off from spring cleaning.  Giving the old shoulder a rest.   Instead I did some laundry and cleaned the bathroom, we went to the Transfer Station (garbage) and then went to Menahga for a parade!

On the way home we stopped by DQ for an ice cream lunch date.

At home the snow was really melting.  The grass almost looks green!

I worked on the mosaic crochet project...I am about half done.   I finished watching season two of Virgin River and started watching Bridgerton...I am not so sure about all the hype for that one...I will watch a few more episodes...so far it gets only 3 out of 10 stars from me..it better improve in the next few episodes!

Hope everyone enjoyed Springing ahead with the time change.

:) Loved the time change, now I wish they'd let it be.
We are supposed to get up to 6 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow! Whoo Hoo Old Man Winter is not done with us yet!

Sure looks like spring is arriving!

We had sun, too! I drove by the DQ and almost stopped. Great minds think alike.

The sun is shining here too and temperatures are absolutely spring like. You had a great day for a drive and a parade.

My daughter has already warned me off Bridgerton. She binge watched and loved it, but knowing my tastes she advised that I would not.

Take care, stay well.

Woke this morning to a grey windy day, but hopefully the anticipated winter storm will hold off until tonight. We plan to go to a birthday pool party for our granddaughter’s 9th birthday this afternoon - 90 miles away. I really don’t want to drive home in a blizzard this evening so we’ll keep an eye on things.

We've been having a little sun here too, nice for getting out & a taking walks with just a jacket, though we're on the edge of a forecasted historical snowstorm 100 miles south. I see green in your yard.

GREEN! I SEE GREEN!!! YAY! Nothing green here yet.

Wow your grass does look greenish. You obviously had more wet than we have - mine melted to the brown of December. Just not enough moisture this winter. --Sherry in MT

A busy day for you! We had a beautiful day yesterday and I think one is in the works for today too! A parade! How fun.

Springing ahead? It used to not be an issue for me. Now it takes quite a while to adjust so let's just get rid of it.

Ah! That statue of St. Urho--LOL!
Bridgerton was hyped up and I wasn't impressed. A lot of fluff and skin really. There are so many excellent period movies and series from Britain you could watch instead--LOL!
Enjoy the spring weather and rest your shoulder. :)

An ice cream lunch date... it doesn't get much better than that!! An outing like that can make the world almost-alright once again. ~Andrea xoxo

It must have been the St. Urho's parade Saturday! If it wasn't for you I would not even know about that holiday. I love your current heading of the parade! From what I have heard Bridgerton is much more hype than substance. I like period pieces but this one really has not interested me. You may have mentioned this, but have you seen The Queen's Gambit on Netflix? We finally watched it and really enjoyed it.

Have a great Sunday!

Another day or two of nice weather and your snow should be gone.
DQ ice cream lunch sounds good to me!

My daughter was watching Bridgerton and I think she liked it but not sure how many she watched. I've been watching Heartland....250 episodes! I'm good for awhile! Happy St. Urho Day.....my corned beef is waiting for the 17th! What do you eat on St. Urho's Day?

Looks like you will have a green St Patrick's Day! St. Urho's too.
Bridgerton was just OK. Lots of sex scenes. Predictable plot line. But interesting racial mix of characters. The current Royal Family might take a lesson from it.

Thanks for reminding me again about Virgin River. And I did enjoy Bridgerton but it wasn't anything too special. :-)

Yep we sprang right into daylight savings time and tonight it was light until after 7 PM! I like that. Our snow is really melting too..and our grass is getting green! Did you go to the Saint Urho's Day parade? or do have to wait until the 16th? Hope you're both feeling well!

Hubby and I would do ice-cream dates sometimes. We always went to the same place and would sit on the wharf to eat them. Lovely memories :)

Glad you attended the parade. We often enjoy DQ treats while sitting in the car.

I am still trying to get use to the spring forward. My eating has to adjust to it all. I just snack when I get hungry.

Sounds like a nice and productive day. Our clocks didn't Spring forward yet. Ours are the last weekend of the month.
