Snow

It snowed...first small dry flakes came down and later some fluffy ones.  I did not venture outside at all yesterday.  We may have gotten an inch of snow...not much by Minnesota snowfall standards. Today I will clean off the walk and the patio.

A snowflake at Jen and Andys home a few years ago.

We had a quiet day yesterday...talked with two of our Grands on the phone.   I finished a couple of crochet projects that will be gifts.

Far Guy cooked supper;  Chicken Alfredo and carrots.

  1. How wonderful that Far Guy cooks. I can't imagine what it would be like to be called to the supper table to a delicious meal and I didn't have to make it. Heaven!! All hail Far Guy!! :-) ~Andrea xoxo

  2. Not much happening around here either. Saturday we had about an inch of very wet snow fall. Hubby went out and shoveled and salted.

  3. I'm not used to hearing about such a quiet day for you two. I hope you enjoyed it. Far Guy's dinner sounds delicious!

  4. If it were cold enough for our rain to be snow, we'd be buried! I'm getting used to finding ways to exercise indoors. At least a little bit. Thank you for the lovely Christmas letter. I enjoyed it very much. :-)

  5. I went on a expedition yesterday. My daughter located a hard to find toy at a discount price at a Target an hour away from our house. I rode over with her to do a trunk delivery in the Target parking lot two counties away. They seemed very strict on mask enforcement. There was a huge sandwich board by the door stating that you MUST wear a mask. I was impressed that everyone walking in was taking it seriously.

  6. It's snowing here. But not sticking. It's very cold for us, but at least there isn't any wind.

  7. We had a wee bit of snow on Saturday, followed up by cold weather - went to bed last night and it was -26C (-15F) and this morning I woke to the same temperature. Sure makes me glad to live in a time with reliable heating!

    Take care, stay well!

  8. Far Guy can come cook for me any time. Chicken Alfredo and carrots sounds divine. No snow or rain at all here. Just dreary grey sky and chilly. We need moisture so badly.

  9. That is a beautiful snowflake ornament. A quiet Sunday watching the snow fall can be nice. I hope you two have a good week.

  11. We got quite a bit of snow yesterday. Saturday they said 6 inches and we got one. Yesterday they said 1/2 inch and we got about 5! I guess we just plan on the opposite of the forecast. Ha!
The chicken alfredo sounds good. It's one of my favorites.
    Blessings,

  13. We didn't get enough snow to cover the grass.
When winter comes there are a lot of quiet days. :)

  14. Last week our long-range forecast included a chance of flurries but I see that's gone now. We'll probably get some before the winter's over.

  15. Snow is such a rarity around here, an inch shuts everything down, just like civid did!
    Thanks for sharing.

  18. How wonderful to have a hubby that helps out with supper once in awhile. I'd like that! I love that snowflake pictured....it's so pretty. We got about an inch of snow too. Had to drive to the dermatologist today to see about a funny spot on my face...he sprayed it with liquid nitrogen...doesn't think it's cancer. Says it should go away now. Hope so.
