Snowy Day

It was a snowy day yesterday.  The last medical appointments were accomplished.  I wandered around an appliance store looking at new appliances and  then visited my parents.  Mom got a new stacking washer and dryer so we washed a load of laundry.  My Dad got a new braces for his knees and they are causing him pain...good thing he is seeing the Nurse soon.

I finished a project from the craft suitcase.  A baby blanket for a special baby not born yet.  BUT I got the blanket done before the birth so that is an accomplishment!  It is a Bernat yarn nice and soft.

It is a simple double crochet blanket with a single crochet border that I made a little different with two rows.

I watched the best movie... Mad Money I give it a 9 out of 10 stars.  I finished the blanket while watching!

Cross something of my mental list as I made no real written down anyplace list yet this year.
Today is a day off...no list for the day either.

I just got a weather alert on my phone for late tomorrow night through Sunday with some heavy snowfall occurring. Looks like we may get a doozy of one. But most of the large snow falls do mainly happen it seems in February!

No snow for us yet, but expected this weekend. Sump pump has been running due to all the mwarmer weather melting some snow. The blanket looks so pretty. Have a great weekend.

When I wimped out yesterday on the hike, I received pictures from some of the hikers that showed quite a bit of wet snow around Lily Lake. I'm glad I didn't go. Love that pretty blanket. :-)

I like the color and pattern of the baby blanket! We are having wintry mix here on the Island.💖

Congratulations on getting the blanket finished, and glad you have a day with no to-do lists of appointments or errands.

Yep, it started to snow again here. The blanket is so nice. I like the pattern and the color is great too. Another great is on the way. I think we are done now for our lifetime for grandkids.

I like "listless" days - maybe we should look at that word differently!

Been away from reading blogs for a bit.... family stuff.... good to see that the snow is going although I hear a winter storm is pounding the eastern US today.
The blanket is lovely and looks so soft.
No list? Are you feeling ok? ;0)

That's a pretty blanket and I love purple. I wish I could get back to crocheting..it's been such a long time. The road looks icy- I hope it was just blowing snow! Have a good weekend.

Sometimes no lists is a very good thing. Rather under the weather here at the moment. Sigh.

I wonder if your snow yesterday was the snow we got Tuesday and Wednesday? I'm sorry your Dad is having pain and hopeful that the nurses can help. It's always something isn't it?
That blanket looks perfect for a new baby. Soft and cuddly and my favoritie color too!
Enjoy your day without a list. We need those sometimes. And now I'm off to brave the roads to go to the post office. I have a birthday gift to mail so I can't put it off or it will be late.
Blessings,
Betsy

You sure get a lot done every day. Getting medical appointments done is always the biggest relief. The baby blanket is pretty.

Getting a baby blanket completed on a no list day sounds pretty good to me! I always have a list but I don't always get everything done. I've often wondered about the stacking washer and dryers. Maybe you can let us know how well they work. It sure would be a space saver. I'm glad the medical appointments are done. I sure love that baby blanket and that beautiful color is good for a boy or a girl. Have a great weekend!

Looks like a soft baby blanket.
That was a movie I hadn't noticed. Really enjoy Diane Keaton so I put it on my list. :)
Hope your dad gets some relief!

Your roads look awful but your baby blanket looks great! Lucky baby! so sorry to hear about your dad having pain from his knee brace/braces? That can't be good. Hope he gets help with that soon. Hope the two of you are doing well.

I can't believe I haven't read your posts since Wednesday? What is wrong with me...I think I am in lala land sometimes.....scary! The blanket looks soft. Is that chennile yarn? What a pretty shade of purple too. How does your Mom like the stackables? I hope your Dad gets his braces fixed or exchanged or something!
