Another rainy day yesterday..errands and a medical appointment were accomplished. Groceries put away and some laundry done...
I colored on cards for a short time until I got so sleepy I couldn't stand it. Nap Time!
Far Guy had a nap too...it was a tough breathing day for him with the high humidity.
Far Side
Naps are good...
ReplyDeleteNaps are always good.Continued prayers for Far Guy that he gets his new lung soon.
ReplyDeleteHope all this waiting will be over soon, prayers for FG.
ReplyDeleteI finally put you with your blog! Sorry I didn't do so sooner.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for thinking of me when you have so much going on.
Best wishes....
Nothing like a rainy day to slow things down and get some needed rest.
ReplyDeleteA nap on a rainy day is the best, listening to rain fall outside while you're tucked in under a cozy blanket.
ReplyDeleteI too, am hoping that there is a call soon for Far Guy's transplant.
I'm glad you are both taking naps when you can.
ReplyDeleteLove the flowers. :)
You've both been running ragged with appointments so a nice quiet rainy day nap was probably exactly what you needed.
ReplyDeleteHope you both got some rest. I pray that your husband has some relief in his breathing. And you can have some relief in your worry. We are enjoying a gentle rain here today. Enjoying the fact that my husband was able to mow and landscape our son's yard (who is preparing to sell his property), our yard, our daughter's yard (who was inside with her newborn and toddler), and our elderly neighbor's yard in the past two days before the rain started. He is quite a guy, as is yours.
ReplyDeleteNaps are good! Terry and I always like a nap after lunch! I hope the lung transplant comes soon!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely flower photo!
ReplyDeleteA rainy day nap sure sounds good. I hope you enjoyed yours!
ReplyDeleteIt rained all night and all day today. I napped, too! Sending love and prayers to you both. Pretty picture.
ReplyDeleteNaps are always good! We're back to hot and dry out here in the west. I'm sorry that you're still playing the waiting game. You are both in my prayers daily.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
I take a nap just about every day... it's not always planned or intentional!
ReplyDeleteRainy days and naps go together
ReplyDeleteLazy August days here in the PNW. We are warm and sunny again. Kids are having their last flings of freedom. Teachers are reporting for work. We are happy to be retired.
ReplyDeleteRainy and downright stormy here today. Glad you both got a nap in....so good for you both! My hubby's birthday today so he went out and got us a couple of prime rib dinners with the works. So delish! Blessings to you both!
ReplyDeleteIt's still hot here...30C today which I believe about 85 F. Too hot for me. If I could I'd exchange your rain for our hot dry weather. Maybe then FG could breather a little easier.
ReplyDeleteNaps are good things, especially on rainy days.
ReplyDeleteIt's been rainy here too. I find myself "dozing off" if I sit too long! LOL! I have to keep moving but sometimes I sit in the chair and take a "power nap". I hope The humidity goes away for Gene's sake.
ReplyDeleteRain - we will always take it but I need some sunshine!
