Card Progress

I finished off some glittery fall cards…they are rubber stampings on watercolor paper, watercolored and glittered!

Then I made some sympathy cards.

The photos before they were attached to cards.

Getting all this “card” stuff off my desk made room for me to work on Christmas cards…well it will be ongoing for quite some time as I picked a time consuming card design.

Most of our snow melted but it is still cold.  The leaves are blowing around in the yard drying out…one day soon I will mulch them. IF it doesn’t rain or snow again!    Almost all of the leaves are out of the trees.  Fall color is pretty much over for this year.

Our fall blast lasted about 3 days and then the rain and winds took them. The brown season has arrived with our killing frost too.
Those cards are amazing!

Your cards are great...and more than just cards...a bit of yourself.

The photos for the sympathy cards reflect both peace and reassurance.

Those scarecrow fall cards are so cute. I know how much time it takes to color each one. Very nice. :)

Our snow is gone, too, but it's freezing cold and damp. The birds are frantically eating seed like crazy--LOL! I don't blame them. Winter came early after another flash fall. There are trees whose green leaves haven't even turned and yet it's below freezing. Feels like we get 7 months of winter, 3 1/2 months of summer, 3 weeks of spring, and 3 weeks of fall lately. Don't mind me--getting grumpy from a head cold for over two weeks--LOL! ;)

I love your pretty cards. I once got some of yours and gave them to very special people who would appreciate them. :-)

Those are absolutely gorgeous cards! I so admire your talent with paper crafting. I’m not good at it at all.
We started the drive home from Omaha this morning and so far have had about 3 hours of snow. There is 3 inches of ice built up on the front of my car. The windchill is 9F where we are in S Dakota as I type this. It’s snowing in Omaha now too. The little girls were running around barefoot at Piper’s birthday party yesterday! Crazy weather!
Blessings,
Betsy

Your sympathy card photos are so pretty and peaceful. I liked your Fall cards before so I looked for a stamp and I found one I loved for $20! I understand why it is $20 because they are detailed and let's face it...I couldn't draw anything close but I didn't buy it. Love yours! Is that Chance's gravesite? It's beautiful!
