Monday was supposed to be the day that My Mom transitioned from Nursing Home back to her assisted living apartment. She was too tired and slept most of the day....maybe Tuesday.
I ran errands in town and picked up Far Guys new medication. He still feels rotten. He has not tried this medication before so we shall see. I had him take a Covid test and it was negative.
We had some small pea size hail on Sunday night....so there are more sticks down and some leaves in the yard.
The Virgins Bower is blooming quite nicely.
Far Side
I'm not familiar with this plant! It is so delicate and pretty!
ReplyDeleteBut once I have looked it up...I have seen it in a couple of places that I have hiked. Especially the seeds that hang around in the fall!
Sorry about mom and the lack of progress.
I hope FG certainly feels better soon too.
:(
Love the Virgin’s Bower. New to me.
ReplyDeleteI'm not familiar with virginia bower. Very pretty. Hope your mom has a better day today. And Far Guy too.
ReplyDeleteI sincerely hope both your mom and your husband get to feeling much better!
ReplyDeleteI hope everything works out for you. It is tough.
ReplyDeleteI do hope your mom is doing well enough to make the transition today. Poor Far Guy, fingers crossed the new meds help with what ails him.
ReplyDeleteThe Virgins Bower is such a pretty flower - I've not seen it before either.
Sending you hopes, prayers and healing for your Mom, Gene and you!
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed you mom can make the transition today. I'm sorry FG still feels miserable.
ReplyDeleteI hope you mom is feeling better today.
ReplyDeleteThe Virgins Bower is new to me. So pretty!
Maybe this medication will work well for FarGuy. Fingers crossed.
As I guessed when I saw the photo of the Virgin's Bower, looking it up I see that it is a native clematis. It's quite pretty.
ReplyDeleteI hope tomorrow is a better day for both Mom and husband.
Lovely flowers. Hope the rest helped your mom and she is feeling better and more awake today.
ReplyDeletePrayers for healing for Far Guy - whatever this latest is. Hopefully the new medication can nip it in the bud.
Rest and comfort for you, too.
We've got that tiny white clematis too!
ReplyDeleteIf I'm not mistaken Virgin's Bower is also called Woodbine. There's a street in our town called Woodbine. We should take a drive out there and look if anyone there grows it. It should be easy to see it if it blooms about now.
ReplyDeletePraying for your hubby, that he will start to feel much better soon.
ReplyDeleteI am not familiar with the white flowers. It must be a more northern country plant.
