What are you reading?

I just finished a book I really enjoyed.

I have not watched it in Netflix yet.  If you enjoy a book the movie is usually not up to the books standards.

I found out that there is a sequel ...so I ordered it from Thriftbooks.

So that is what I am reading...how about you?

I am still reading "The One" about quantum mechanics. Not exactly thrilling reading, but I'm enjoying it. I'll definitely look for that book, I've heard the movie is okay. :-)

I'm reading a non-fiction book on the history of bottled water. I can't think of the name of it though.

I enjoyed reading both of those books. I just finished reading Spare by Prince Harry. I’m not a royalty watcher and don’t read the tabloids, so I was shocked by many of his experiences with the press. I enjoyed the section about his military service.

I read several books on my cruise, but haven't read a lot since I arrived home. I quite enjoyed Karin Slaughter's "Girl, Forgotten".

I started "Girls of Flight City" by Lorraine Heath. So far, it's a good read, so I'll have to get back to it.

Wild Times & True Tales from the High Plains by Matt Vincent. It's a collection of short stories about the High Plains of Colorado, Kansas and Nebraska. When I was young I didn't have an interest in history but now find it fascinating!

I'm reading "Unlost - A journey of self discovery..." It's written by a woman who hiked the Appalachian Trail. I'm about half way through it. I think I've read the book you just finished, but I can only remember about 1% of what I read. But it looks familiar. I'll have to go see if it's on my list of read books.

I just started When No One Is Watching by Alyssa Cole. Too soon to say anything about it.

I just now finished "Summer Wives" and before that "Where'd You Go, Bernadette?", both entertaining reads. I will start "The Revisionists" next, my Black History selection.

I read my first Kristin Hannah book around Christmas. It was called the Winter Garden and it was excellent. She has lots of books out. I'll write those down.

I have read Firefly Lane and remember enjoying it. I am terrible with books - I should read it again. :)

I spent January ordering all kinds of "recommended" books. They are in a pile on my desk. I am re-reading my Charlotte MacLeod mysteries from the 70's.

I'm hooked on Louise Penney mysteries right now. Between books I watch episodes of Three Pines on Prime. The series is from her books.

Turns out I have not read this book. So I added it to my "want to read" list. :)
