Cards and eggs

I needed a few more cards.  I ran out of some supplies so Far Guy and I made a trip over to Hobby Lobby.  The supplies I needed were on sale so I stocked up!  We took Sadie along for the ride.

The Ball jar full of flowers is one of my favorite stamps, it is fun to watercolor.

I finished making the cards I needed and Far Guy worked on his latest woodcarving.

We had the Millionaires Supper...eggs and bacon.  Who knew eggs would be so expensive.

Egg prices are starting to fall significantly here. They are down about 30% from what they were a month ago.

I saw the price of eggs! I was astounded.
I've been getting mine from my neighbor and she refused to let me pay for them.
I know her cost for feed is going up so now I am going to make sure she gets $$ for fresh Hen Fruits.
We had Bacon and Eggs the other night too. Who knew it would become such a pricey supper?

Mason jars make the best vases. Your cards brighten the day just as much as a floral display on the kitchen table.

The cards are so pretty! We have grits, eggs, and toast for supper sometimes. It's very good! We have three hens laying right now and that keeps us supplied.

That is one of my favorite stamps of yours, too! So pretty!
Glad your needed supplies happened to be on sale--win! win!
That bird flu has caused some havoc!

That's funny but true...Millionaire's supper.
It must be so fun to just run out and get what you need for crafting. I always have to order and then wait for forever.
Is that the same stamp? using different colors make them look totally different. Lovely!

While eggs have gone up here, they apparently aren't that much compared to some places. We are still buying them 18 for under $4.50.
That card stamp is a good one for having fun varying the colors and shading of the flowers.

I'd be interested in the price of eggs around North America ( and beyond, even). Here just this morning we paid $3.88 at Walmart for Grade A large. We could have bought them at the drug store ( seriously!), for 3.59 but we were already at Walmart and didn't want to bother for .30.

Eggs here are coming down in price. We got a dozen for $4.50, way down from $8 a couple weeks ago!

Probably quite a few of us have the millionaires supper.

I make eggs every morning for some of the grandkids that board the bus here (others request pancakes). We are big egg eaters. And blessed egg eaters. An acquaintance posted on facebook that she had extra eggs. I am now on her regular route and even get mine delivered when she comes into town! Prices are higher than I used to pay, but lower than a grocery store. And now we are spoiled with fresh eggs! My favorites are the double yolks.

The cards are lovely!
Eggs have gone up a bit, but thankfully not a lot. I like an egg for breakfast a couple of times a week and we usually have breakfast bowls for dinner once every week or two.

I love the cards and envy your creative talent to make them - Something I do not (!!) have. And you are right about the 'millionaires supper.' I bought eggs this weekend.

Home made cards mus be fun to make. I used to have quite the stamp collection for making cards. Rubber stamps were so fun to use.

What a great name for a store!

I figure it costs me about $18 a dozen to raise them here ;-)

Your cards are all so nice. It is fun I am sure to contribute to the card that you send out to individuals.
