Onward

I finished both seasons of Joe Millionaire and then began to watch Roots on tubi.  I recall when it originally aired in 1977 it was a big television event.   I crochet while watching.   I will have to pick one more series to watch before I am done with the Nordic Mosaic Crochet project.  I suppose I could always continue with Manifest on Netflix...does anyone have recommendations?

I am also working on the 2015 and 2016 photos in the Grands albums.

I don't have any recommendations for good shows. Hubby is pretty limited in what he will watch.

Love that pump photo! My Uncle[s] had them on their farms.

The Crown on Netflix is pretty good!

I accidentally watched "The Menu" on Netflix and suggest you stay away from that one! Awful doesn't even begin to cut it. I enjoyed "Emily in Paris" though.

I don't use Netflix so can't help you with a recommendation.
That's an interesting old pump. We had one similar, though less rusty :), on the well on the farm. That was our drinking water. It was always good and cold.

I have been watching on the Tubi app on my smart tv. There are several series that have taken me down their rabbit hole! They have some British police shows, Vexed is like a law and order with comedy. I am watching Maloney and something which is way darker. I have at least 3 new to me British comedies that have several sessions available. Some nights I am sucked into documentaries. I just finished all the sessions of a Cold Case, History where we investigated deaths in the 1400's and even earlier. One about archeological activities on the coasts, etc. Sometimes I watch a cooking reality show (I hate to use that term, they are so polite to each other) called British Menu.

You'll be up to 2023 with the photos before you know it. Wish I could get ambitious enough to just organize my photos. Sigh!!

I have no recommendations on series to watch.

I am amazed at how self motivated you are. I am a slug. I have finished a baby blanket and working on a second. Since I’m carrying my friend to appts. I can do this as I wait.

I also haven't any recommendations. And I also really like the photo of the pump.

If you can get Acorn tv or Brit Box I recommend Foyle's War. Very good both in story line and acting.

Oh yes--I remember what a following there was when Roots was shown!!
I think we like different types of shows. I follow a lot of British series. Haven't been on Netflix for a little while. I am also catching up on The Crown.

I noticed last weekend that Roots was on tubi. I plan to watch it next. You might also enjoy Gracepoint, Wycliffe, and Rose and Maloney on tubi.

I watched Harry and Meghan on Netflix with my DIL while I was in London. It's interesting to watch it with someone from the UK. We are also re-watching Midsummer Murders on YouTube. There are 18 or 19 seasons and we've watched them several times. We always notice something else when we watch them.
Blessings,
Betsy

I would always recommend "The Chosen" which can be watched on youtube or Roku. It has now completed 3 seasons of 8 episodes each and is so excellent. It can also be watched on your own computer....just google The Chosen and you will see how to watch on your computer. It has now been translated into 600 languages for people watching all around the world!

I don't have any recommendations as I canceled Netflix and I just watch You Tube podcasts. I really like National Geographic Zoo Vet and Cedar County Veterinarians and Dr. Pohl....can you tell I wanted to be a veterinarian?

We liked Wednesday, on Netflex...it's an Adams family spin off. IT was good enough we watched it two times.

It was my job to pump water everyday for the house to drink. It was cold in the winter but fun in the spring when the daffodils were blooming.
