Sweet treats! My husband brought me a HUGE houseplant yesterday for Valentine's Day. After nearly 50 years he should have noticed that I do NOT have any houseplants - because I always kill them. I appreciate his intentions, but that poor plant has a short life expectancy.

The Season of Chocolate is finally at its apex. I am addicted to the sweet stuff and avoid entering stores that have candy displays near the front door until after Easter - the official end of the season that starts in early October.

Happy Valentines Day to you and Far Guy. We had a very boisterous lunch get together for a Valentines birthday. That was a lot of fun but now the house is blessedly quiet.. There was a box of chocolate left after Christmas and today's the day to open it.
