Decorations

I did a bit of decorating at the front door.

My best friend Susie was  making Christmas Swags again!  We had a good visit a week ago.  She and her husband are fishermen so they sent a mess of walleye home with us...really yummy! I have known her since before our oldest children went to kindergarten...and those "kids" will be 50 in the coming year.

I put up a few decorations on my other wreath...Fall became Christmas!

No lights this year.  Just some Santas and a couple of snowflakes.

Nice swag. That is a long friendship, love it! I always put some diy decoration/s up by my front door too. Makes it more inviting. Not even one little string of lights for ambiance, during low light times of the day/night?? Wellll, putting decorations after the holidays away will be super easy.

The pine swag looks perfect on your front door.

Fresh walleye - yum!! Our neighbor in our previous town used to bring us the occasional walleye after his fishing trips along the Missouri River. So tasty! One of our local restaurants here serves an excellent broiled walleye.

I don't think I have any friends of that vintage. We've moved around too much.
A lovely swag!

Wonderful swag! What a great friend. I see workshops at area tree farms where you can turn your tree trimmings into swag gnomes (for a price). Very cute, but I have enough stuff that I don't bother getting out of the closets.

Yum, I love to eat fish! I'm not so sure I've ever tried walleye though. I'm sure I'd like it though as I like every other kind of fish. What nice friends you have! ~Andrea xoxoxo

I have the first tree up and hung the wrong wreath on the front door. I will switch it out later. I found the right one later while I was digging through the decorations.
