Some Progress

Since we stayed home yesterday I made some progress on several projects that I was behind with.  Some mowing...and my lawn mower had to be repaired three times by Far Guy.  Hopefully it is all fixed now...some safety wire may hold my mulching chute shut....when companies change a part for mulching the change is not always a good one.

I cleaned up a mess by one of the trees (long grass and leaves)...I have wagon wheels that lean there and a whole bunch of solar lights...some working and some not so much.   There was an ant hill in part of that area....only a few ants...not a swarm.   So I sprayed for ants.  Only three Solar Lights were working.

I am working on the Christmas Card...plain old white watercolor paper works...but using a golden shade of watercolor as a wash...makes it all better.   It is project.  I make about 130 cards....so I work on it a long time.

I ordered yarn for a new project...another crochet along... even though I am not done with two previous crochet along projects.  I figure I can rotate through them all winter.    I should make a list but that would be scary.   One project just needs a border.  Oh well.

Sounds like you had a busy day. Love the photo of the old car.

I haven't thought about winter projects yet. I am thinking about cards and another photo book. I did one for 2020 to March 2021.

I love that car with the wooden sides! Woodies, I think they were called. I’m about ready to get out the woolen shawl I crocheted and frogged all last winter and finish it. I have vowed that this time it IS WHAT IT IS and there will be an end to it.

That type of day is very satisfying, when you know you've accomplished something. I need to have one of those days and reduce some summer clutter myself.

Love that beautiful car! It sounds like you've been very productive. I've been busy but nothing to show for it. I spent yesterday making, dentist, doctor for physical and eye exam appointments for both of us. We want to get them done before our insurance is done with. Today I'm filling out the paperwork they emailed to us
Blessings,
Betsy

Even taking a pic of the name doesn't help me know what kind of car that is but I LOVE the wood!
That's a lot of yard work done for the fall.
Glad you figured out your Christmas card. I used to do about 120 years ago but gradually reduced down to about 60.

Beautiful old car!

There's always another project that seems more interesting or maybe fun than the last.

I've been trying to tie up so ends of thing I needed to get done before it freezes----which they say will be in 6 days. Time is flying it seems.

You are so much more organized than me! Even if your projects aren't completed, they're at least started! I don't even have a beginning on so many things I think I should be doing.

You stay so busy and accomplish so much! I always have a list but I am slow to complete it. It certainly is time to think about Christmas with the time speeding by so quickly. I love the old car!

Now that's a car!!! We are trying to get our lawn in order for fall, too.

You’ll have plenty of time this winter to crochet. No doubt the Farmer’s Almanac is predicting a cold one.

I like the old car, too, and that you are getting things done. And that FG is feeling good enough to help.

I love that old car.

I, too, am afraid to make a list of things I have started. It would boggle the mind. I have a bunch of quilt tops from before I got my Juki 98Q.

Very cool old Ford at the end of your post today. I like it and the woody sides too! Sounds like you're really busy with many projects. Good for you. Love your blog!

that woody is a pretty pretty car!! We had a maroon one way back when and when we went out for an Easter picnic someone lost a hard boiled egg under the seat... boy what a smell in a week or so!!

What a cool old Woody!
We are expecting a weather change tomorrow, our first heavy rain. The season is changing and I will have to come up with some indoor projects. I don't think I'll mak 130 Christmas cards though.!!! ;-)

Making 130 Christmas cards should keep you busy for a while.
I like the old car(s).

Sounds like you made great progress on some projects, and have plenty more to keep you busy. There are always plenty more projects waiting to be done, aren't there? But, on the bright side, you can't complain of boredom.

You've been working hard! We're starting to cool down but not enough for me to want to work outside for long. I'll wait until it's in the 60's...that's my favorite temperature for working outside.
I would be scared to list my WIPs also!
That car is a beauty! If I had the money I would love a car like that!

I really like the woody. I had a friend who owned a woody and was going to sell it. When he found out the buyer wanted to cut off the top of it, he refused to sell it.
