A package came in the mail.
It was from Shirley...she had a foaling contest and I was the closest guess on the date that Midnight Moondance was born. Thank you so much Shirley! The masks are just perfect!
Our weather has turned real warm.
I am staying busy. Far Guy is wood carving on the Christmas Ornaments out at the patio table. I join him for a short time...I have not carved in a little while so I am breaking in those wrist/fingers slowly so my hands don't sleep all night and keep me awake.
I began the someday project that was INSIDE the milk can. It is a many step project that involved some research and trial and error. It is a labor of love for sure. It will take me all summer to finish...maybe longer.

Congratulations on your win!
ReplyDeleteHave a fun day!
Congratulations on your win.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on winning the contest.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Pretty masks and I started following Shirley as I love horses! It's been in the 80's this week...better than the 90's last week! Yes, get those hands in shape. Your secret project has got my curiosity up!
ReplyDeleteI will have to tell my friend who made the masks that they are now in Michigan! She has made so many of them locally.
ReplyDeleteI am super curious about the milk can project too!
That milk can project...hmmmm. Sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteI like those masks! I need to get some like that. The ones I made aren't so grand looking. I also should get some disposable ones to actually leave in the vehicle for those times I forget to bring one along.
Congrats on your win! I can't wait to see the milk can project. Have a great day! :)
ReplyDeleteHmmm very curious, milk can project :)
ReplyDeleteThe milk can plot thickens! I am finding it amazing how many masks we require. I picked up four from my son's neighbor who has set up a storefront on her front porch (the coffee can honor system). We made a second trip for five more. I also ordered some cute ones online, but those don't have the top wire for glasses wearers. We use them once and put them in the laundry and it seems we are always running low. I have a sparse supply of paper masks that I once purchased for my grandkids to play Doc McStuffins. I do find them lighter and easier to breath thru, but I hate to order more when I have perfectly good cloth ones. . .
ReplyDeleteSuch fun fabric on those masks.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your win! Looking forward to learning more about the milk can project.
ReplyDeleteLove the mask fabrics.
ReplyDeleteFun masks!! Araignee
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect prize!
ReplyDeleteVery curious ab out your milk can project.
Take it easy in this heat.
Oh, that's right - we were both foal winners! I'll have to go check my mailbox :-D
ReplyDeleteThe milk can project... taking all summer.... hmmmmm. This is in many ways better than a mystery novel, Connie. :-) Love, Andrea xoxo
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on winning! I love the masks. I am really curious about the milk can project now if it takes all summer to finish!
ReplyDeleteI am so intrigued by the idea of the new project. It's going to fun when you reveal it.
ReplyDeleteThe masks are fantastic!
The milk can project sounds interesting and now I'm really curious. Those are nice masks. Dennis surprised me with another one that he purchased for me so I can keep one in both the car and the truck. I would have to wait in the truck if we went somewhere because I only had one mask. It's nice to have a second one since this looks like it will be hanging around for awhile.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
I've seen some of that style of mask and I think they would be more comfortable than the pleated ones that I got. Not that wearing a mask is ever going to be comfortable but still...
ReplyDeleteI'm so curious about your milk can project!!
Nice looking masks
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to be a winner. INSIDE the milk can??? I have no idea.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what becomes of that milk can!!!
ReplyDeleteI am curious about that milk can, too.
