Swans and Ducks

There are a number of Swans and Ducks over on the Fishhook River.  It entertained Chance and I for quite some time.  Chance just watched out his window.  He didn’t growl he didn’t bark he just enjoyed the show…what a good boy he is!

The Trumpeter Swans are huge.

They are definitely beautiful creatures. We have lots of them around here at certain times of the year. Whole fields dotted with white. :-)

They are gorgeous! Spring is here in the Ozark's so get ready! Daffodils are blooming and leaves are populating all the bushes....now the rain is coming tomorrow....of course, because the girl's have vet appointments! LOL! We will get wet for sure as when it rains here it is like monsoons. Oh well, none of us are so sweet we will melt and the truck could use a good wash! LOL! Hang in there....early Spring is on it's way!

I have read of the trumpeters and how they spend their winters at special lakes. It would neat to be able to see them. Photos are better than nothing. I discovered a week ago that there is a lake in Iowa where the trumpeters spend their winter but I bet it is close to the Minnesota border.
