Sunrise

My baby brother sent out this photo of the Good Friday sunrise from his home.

What a beautiful way to start Good Friday.

Far Guy is doing a tiny bit better every day.

  5. That is soooo very beautiful. God is the best artist! However my thought is it is something you could paint because you are so very talented. Hooray again for FG! Remember the tortoise won his race by going slow and steadily forward.

  13. Nice.
We had Miss Ariel come to visit so I packed up the computer and put it away for the weekend.

  14. Beautiful!!! It always seemed up North that many times Good Friday was gray and sometimes stormy. My Dad died on Good Friday and I was down here by myself for Easter. It was a nice day though.

  15. My late mother in law would go to the river at dawn on Good Friday and fill a small bottle with water. She would then take that water to church to be blessed at the service. She said this became holy water which she would then use in her religious rituals.
I wonder what she did on the years the river was frozen solid until May??
