We have a puzzle happening most all of the time. Early in December we finished a vintage postcard puzzle but I did not take a photo. Then just prior to Christmas we finished the manger scene.
A very bright and cheerful puzzle that we will possibly do again some day, it was a fun puzzle!
Book Lover Puzzle
Jen got a gift from Noah earlier this year, it was an Advent puzzle and pieces were inside each little box, so you had pieces to put together everyday.
It was a very pretty puzzle.
Sadie thinks puzzling is a good activity because you can put pieces together with one hand and pet her with the other.
We have a puzzle board that has drawers and we also have stacking sorting trays!
Far Side
Wow you are serious puzzlers! My step son used to puzzle a lot with his mother who has dementia. She really enjoyed it but when her symptoms got worse she suddenly stopped understanding what a jigsaw puzzle is. Very sad.
ReplyDeleteNice! My mom loved puzzles and so did my MIL. My hubby doesn't so we don't really do them here. Plus we don't have room for it. Any project takes up our eating table. :)
ReplyDeleteBut these are wonderful!
Sorting trays would be so useful!
They're all wonderful puzzles and the advent calendar is especially intriguing. I will have to look for one for next year.
ReplyDeleteI bet Sadie is a great help.:)
Beautiful puzzles! My gift to Dennis this year was a rotating puzzle board with four drawers for storage. He was very happy. We're looking forward to lots of puzzles in the future.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
I love the Advent puzzle idea!
ReplyDeleteYOU GUYS ARE PROFESSIONAL PUZZLERS.
ReplyDeleteI haven't done a puzzle since I was a kid. It looks like fun.
ReplyDeleteWow! Those are some beautiful puzzles! Never heard of an advent puzzle. The book lover one is charming and funny. Sounds like you guys are all set up so you are able to have one going all the time. Nice! :)
ReplyDeleteA couple of my friends received a similar Advent puzzle and enjoyed putting it together one section at a time.
ReplyDeleteMy sister was big into puzzles... me, I can't sit still long enough. No, that's not it 'cause I sit still to read. Not sure what it is. I just don't enjoy putting puzzles together.
ReplyDeleteI love puzzles. You have done some pretty ones recently!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful puzzles. I like doing them, but haven't had a "space" to do them for years. I have one I'dlike to put together and then fix as a photo to hang on the wall. Don't know if I'll ever get to it. (Linda)
ReplyDeleteI don't have the patience for puzzles although there are some pretty ones around, I gave my granddaughters a jigsaw puzzle of me and Tim for Christmas
ReplyDeleteI really like the idea of an Advent calendar. We used to do puzzles every winter but my eye sight is no longer up to it even with the best light.
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed. I'm not a puzzler, at least not yet.
ReplyDeleteJigsaw puzzles have great benefits, the best one for me is having something to do and you can succeed!
ReplyDeleteThey are all wonderful puzzles. The manger scene is marvelous and my favorite.
ReplyDeleteWow.....you are like professional Puzzlers! I am impressed. Love seeing all those puzzles too.
ReplyDeleteVery nice puzzles. The nativity puzzle is very neat!
ReplyDeleteYou reminded me that I have a couple of puzzles I haven't done yet. I always thought January was a good month for doing puzzles! I've never heard of an advent puzzle but it sounds like fun!
ReplyDeleteI would definitely say you guys are professionals! Every one of those are beautiful! I love the Advent one...good job Noah!
ReplyDeleteI received a beautiful puzzle for Christmas. A wooden one with about 20 specially shaped pieces that look like flowers, sheep, tools, boots, birds... I had the most fun putting it together and even thought I might do it again when I got it finished the first time. At the end I had three pieces missing, all contiguous and on the outside edge. I've emailed the company. Sigh...
