Wood Crafts

Jen and Andy make some awesome woodcrafts.  Far Guy and I have been helping with the painting.

Jen said make something out of the left over wood scraps so I did.

It can be what ever you want it to be.  I see an Angel.  Jen was not in the immediate area when I chose the shimmery turquoise paint color...she came into the room and said "Oh not the metallic paint...oh well do your own thing Mom."

The next time she showed up she thought is was very pretty.

Here is another of my scrappy creations.

Fun stuff makes the day go faster.

At least to my untrained eyes, the middle one looks Native American, and a representation of the Thunderbird.

Your designs are beautiful, and the first one looks so good with those blue pieces. You have a great eye for color. Woodworking is a creative task I've never tried.

OHHHH I love the shimmery metallic paint! Those are beautiful.

Your creativity is wonderful!

It is like playing with your own puzzle pieces.

God blessed your family with such an eye for beauty and creative fingers to bring your visions to fruition.
I know you miss your home but your families seem to really complement each other in the winter. Everyone helps with the cooking and also the rental. Plus you do puzzles together as well as crafts. It is fun reading for us.

I like the metallic blue - if we all stayed in the lines art would be boring.

They are lovely pieces. I saw a palm tree in the first piece, but maybe that's because I'm dreaming of my upcoming winter vacation.

I really like the blue you chose.

Funny--I was thinking of an angel, too. Probably because it was just Christmas. They are both unique and look like fun to make. Was she upset because she had plans for the metallic paint? It's a beautiful turquoise. She should have warned you--lol! Glad you used it, though. Really a gorgeous color.

I like that color! I also like your designs.

The shimmery blue makes it a dragonfly for me.
This looks like fun, and better that quilting because you don't have to sew.:-)

I see an angel too, maybe a Native American one with those delightful colors. :-)

When I was a kid my dad bought a set of blocks from a closed country school. These pieces remind me of them. I like the design a lot. It is a symbolic angel. Very nice.

Those are beautiful wood designs. What a great opportunity for you to be even more creative than you already are.

I like both of those designs that you made. Maybe they'll be adorning a wall somewhere???

I think I like the metallic paint, which is a bit of a surprise to me.

Wow! Your family is very creative! Are they going to hang on the wall? My problem is everything I do or make has to have a purpose which may be why I am not very creative. Although I do like to decorate.
