The Lilac is sprawling, it does not have good form.
Possibly it struggles back here in the Oak Woods. Bloom where you are planted even if it is a less than perfect spot!
This Lilac is what they consider a late lilac called 'Donald Wyman'.
Far Side
I like bloom where you’re planted…sort of make the best of it. That’s what I’m trying to do.
Are you growing tomatoes in your trough like preciously?
That sure is late and spindly. I love the colors though.
Good Morning, Connie! I love your yard.
The color is pretty. Time is going by fast.
The lilac is still very pretty! And I bet it smells lovely too.Hard to believe it is almost mid-way through June. Would if I could have winter months pass by as quickly.
Still beautiful!
Time passes so quickly! I find it hard to believe June is almost half done.
how is your Mom doing? I looked for a phone # for you but couldn't find one
I have always likes the the motto "Bloom where you are planted".We try.
Bloom where you were planted... Nice thing to try and do in life.
Edie, We moved Mom from the hospital to the Nursing Home for rehab this morning. Room 117
That is a late bloomer. My lilacs were finished 2 to 3 weeks ago.
"It's still beautiful even if it's a bit gangly". :-) Does it still have the wonderful lilac smell.Blessings,Betsy
I love your lilac....it looks great to me! Did your mom get out of the hospital yet?
I've never tried to grow lilac, but I do know how sweet the smell. Yours is lovely. Have a great day!
