Can you guess what Far Guy named his car? Hint: It was my nickname in High School.
If you have a digital camera you can just hold it up while you are driving and click away and you may get one great photo:)
Most everyone in High School called me Tilly.
Far Side
Cute name for both the car and you. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteFunny how guys name their cars after women! I think Ol' Betsy was the name of our cars. Yep, any one of them would get called Ol' Betsy. Funny.
ReplyDeleteThat's so sweet! And a really cute name too!
ReplyDeleteI love that Far Guy named the car after your high school nickname! I hope you two have a great weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteI learned that trick of clicking away when I started taking photos of people. Especially if I was taking photos of someone who was explaining something. I never realized the strange positions people's faces get into when they talk until I started taking photos. So does Far Guy call his car "Tilly" ?
ReplyDeleteYes
DeleteWhat a perfect name. Tilly. The car actually looks like a Tilly. How in the world they they ever come up with it for you though?
ReplyDeleteI also like how the rows in the field echo the road curve. Great photo.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
That is the perfect name!! Perfect!
ReplyDeleteNice photo.
ReplyDeleteSweet choice. :)
ReplyDeleteTilly is a fun name for Far Guy’s car. I’m am curious about how your friends got that nickname out of Connie though! My nickname was String Bean, shortened to Bean, not a good choice for a car at all!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great name for that beautiful car and a real compliment to you!
ReplyDeleteWell, that is a good nickname for both you and the car! I like it.
ReplyDeleteWe all had nick names in high school. When I go back I am still called by my nick name.
ReplyDeleteThat seems like a good name for FG's car. My GD calls her car Betty. Other than that I don't know of anyone else that actually names their cars.
ReplyDeleteLove the name!!
ReplyDeleteIt is so fun to see that car out on the road. The shine is so great too. It is such high style for a car named Tilly.
ReplyDeleteAwwwwww... Tilly! I love it!! The perfect name for Far Guy's new old car. How romantic, to boot!! :) ~Andrea xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteNow you need to tell us the story behind the name Tilly.:-)
ReplyDeleteTilly sounds like a good name
ReplyDeleteAwe, that is so sweet. Our cars never seem to have names of any meaning. For many years my husband drove Clifford the Big Red Truck. And now we have a traverse so I pulled Trixie out of thin air.
ReplyDeleteOkay, for sure: now you'll have to explain how you got the nickname Tilly!
ReplyDeleteNo wonder you just love that man to pieces! He is a keeper. :)
ReplyDeleteNice name, and really sweet that Far Guy named her after your old highschool nickname. Though I have to wonder why that was your nickname.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great day for the car, but like others I'm curious, how would you have gotten the name Tillie?
