What's on my desk

My desk is a mess.  I have way too many projects in the works.

I have new stamps to try out, a plate from my Aunt Anna's Estate sale to hang up,  two different crochet projects and several more in that bag that I carry almost everywhere.   My Uncle Hugo's Bible in Finnish..waiting on my desk for a response from the grandchild he raised. Various containers (beautiful boxes) filled with "stuff"...

From my desk I can enjoy the wild daisies that grow on the edge of the river rock.

Perhaps I spend too much time gazing out the window....or outside cleaning up the garage.

Far Guy is doing some practice carving on this years Christmas ornament.   I have not joined him yet.  The design is being refined:)

OOOh the Christmas ornament! That is always exciting and I know that we ALL hope to have a chance to get one somehow.
Your craft area is nice and neat in my humble opinion. You should see my cart but I know where everything is and woe to anyone who touches it!
Blessings,
Betsy

Oh, you can never spend "too much time" gazing out your window, my friend. What a beautiful view! Your table looks busy, which is a wonderful thing especially during these times. Forge ahead.... ~Andrea xoxoxo

My “art room” is also the guest room, a terrible combination. We have guests coming next month (for the first time in 16 months) so I am busy sorting and cleaning, all the while gazing out the window at the bird feeders with my fingers itching to do anything but clean! Your piles look quite tidy and organized.

In cleaning one room it seems I mess up every other room in the house! Your desk is mild compared to my messes! I'm sorry I haven't been by but taking care of the cat next door and getting ready for company has taken everything I've got or had.
Plus, cleaning isn't something most people want to read about. I'll go back and catch up with what you've been up to.

A messy desk is the sign of a creative person. Alas, mine is very tidy.

How exciting to hear you are refining the design of the Christmas ornament already! That's a highlight of the year!

Your desk looks much like mine. I keep saying I'm going to clean it and then I add something else to it. I wouldn't get much done if I could see those beautiful wild daisies from my desk!

We also, have too many hobbies and projects. (And Cluttered Desks!) But I think having a job to do helps give you something to look forward to. And also, helps keep you busy, young, and ALIVE! ( Is that why your Parents are still kickin' and having fun at Bingo? ) Looking out the Window brings its own peace as well.

I am glad you have that window to look out of. I have two great windows downstairs but the trundle bed located along a wall keeps me from being in front of the one and my spoiled cockatiels get the full view of the sliding glass doors. I have a workroom that looks like your desk with projects started everywhere.

A messy desk is a used desk

My craft area is a disaster - part of the problem is every time I go into tidy I get caught up in another project. Somehow I suspect you will get everything done and more...even with the distraction outside the window.
