Rudbeckia Carving

I painted the Rudbeckia carving for Far Guy.

The base comes from vacation 2018-2019 and it has been spoken for...it is a very pretty carving.

Not sure what he will carve next.

I mowed yesterday and took care of some weeds and had a nap. Just like that the day was over.

You are both such amazing artists! You captured the shading/ombre effect of the center of the petals well. His carving is exquisite. What kind of wood is that stem that is so slender but still able to hold the flower?

What a wonderful piece of artwork! His carving is amazing and your talented painting increases the beauty of it! Is the base from Hawaii? It enhances the flower and makes it even more special!

You two!!! You make quite the team. That is absolutely gorgeous. He carved it so exquisitely and you caught the colors perfectly. I certainly wish I had the imaginations the two of you do. I follow directions on patterns. That's it.
Wishing you both a blessed day.
