I painted the Rudbeckia carving for Far Guy.
The base comes from vacation 2018-2019 and it has been spoken for...it is a very pretty carving.
Not sure what he will carve next.
I mowed yesterday and took care of some weeds and had a nap. Just like that the day was over.
Far Side
It's a beautiful carving and you did a great job painting it.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day. Mildred
Both you and Far Guy are true artisans. The carvings are amazing and your painting them brings out the true beauty.
ReplyDeleteI love it. The flower looks so life-like. Great paint job.
ReplyDeleteLovely!💖
ReplyDeleteWow! That is a wonderful carving and paint job, too. I love it. :-)
ReplyDeleteWell done, both of you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job, both of you!
ReplyDeleteThe carving turned out very nice. Perfect painting to complement the carving.
ReplyDeleteYou are both such amazing artists! You captured the shading/ombre effect of the center of the petals well. His carving is exquisite. What kind of wood is that stem that is so slender but still able to hold the flower?
ReplyDeleteSome kind of stick that he found in the woods more than likely Hazelbrush!
DeleteBeautiful flower! You two are amazing! Thank you for sharing! Puts a big smile on my face!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! Like I said yesterday, you two make a great team. Have a nice Wednesday :)
ReplyDeleteEven better than I imagined it! You both are so talented. What a team!

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful piece of artwork! His carving is amazing and your talented painting increases the beauty of it! Is the base from Hawaii? It enhances the flower and makes it even more special!
ReplyDeleteYou two!!! You make quite the team. That is absolutely gorgeous. He carved it so exquisitely and you caught the colors perfectly. I certainly wish I had the imaginations the two of you do. I follow directions on patterns. That's it.
ReplyDeleteWishing you both a blessed day.
Betsy
