Time Saving Tips

If you have a paper shredder line the container with two plastic bags instead of one.  It will save you clean up just in case one bag has a hole and erupts like a flow of lava from the bag.

I shredded a bunch of papers yesterday...trying to organize papers for taxes.  Why is it I seem to save so much paper stuff...I should just shred it immediately if I don't need the paper receipt for taxes.

Shovel while it is snowing.

I double bag also but for cleaning the litter boxes! LOL! That's even more important to not have holes in the bags! I thought computers were going to eliminate paperwork but I guess not. I have the same problem. In fact it seems I have more than ever! Good luck!

Heaps of paper are a problem for me, too.

I have to keep ... well I do keep pretty good records on everything and have a file box with receipts and bills in them. I probably don't need to keep those papers. The medical bills I do keep. I think I need a shredder.

What a beautiful photo! But we're all tired of shoveling snow already this winter.

Sage advice. ;)

I love to shovel while it's snowing. It's easier to go out every hour or so and do a little then do a lot when it's over. Plus it's just so beautiful when it's coming down. I love the sound of snow falling. You just have to remember to cover up your head and neck well. When the snow goes down the back of your neck it's no fun...lol.

I used to be like Debra. I would shovel while the snow was coming down. It was much easier and I loved it too. Now, no one wants me shoveling.
You're going to think me an idiot, but I never thought of putting a plastic bag in the shredder. I would just dump it in the kitchen can when full and make a huge mess. I'm going to double bag ours today. :-)
Blessings,
Betsy

I'm not certain about the US but the Canada tax system will accept scanned copies of documents in some cases. The only receipts I need are for donations and those I receive electronically. If I were asked to provide copies I would be able to submit them electronically as well. I'm not a paper person - years of dealing with at work - so I don't receive paper copies of bills in most cases.

Oh, the snow, we're fortunate as we haven't had any for some time. I'm okay with that!

Your frozen snowy world is beautiful. Time to stay inside and shuffle around in the heat. That's what we are doing. :)

I haven't ever thought of that. I just dump it in the office trash and make a hug mess. Duh!

Good tips, especially if you've ever cleaned up shredded paper from a carpet! That is a gorgeous snow picture!

I have too much paper and it seems to keep coming and I can't shred fast enough. I like this tip and will use if for sure.
