June the snowbank is as big as ever. She is a record height....the tallest we have seen her in the 22 years we have lived here.
The weather yesterday was lovely. Above zero! I finished my shoveling and no snow is forecast so I am ahead of the game! Yeah me!
Stacey came by to get her crown ear warmer. She liked it!
I had time to make her another one...in the color she originally requested.
They both look good on her! Either color makes her eyes pop!
Yesterday I watched The 100-Foot Journey a movie much more to my liking. I give it a 8 out of 10 stars.
Far Side
Oh that snow is just really something! I can't even imagine. It would be a national catastrophe here in the DC area. The entire country would be hearing about it for weeks when the government shut down. Lol.....
ReplyDeleteThe crowns are adorable and I bet really practical.
Oh, my, I am glad we don't have to try and shift snow like that on the coast of Maine. And the cold! I'd hibernate like a bear. Stacy looks very pretty in her new crown!💖
ReplyDeleteWow! What a snow pile! Stacy looks so cute in both her "crown" hats!
ReplyDeleteHoly Cow, i can't believe how big June is. I really like the crown ear warmer. That is just the neatest thing I've seen in a long time. Looks good on Stacey.
ReplyDeleteWow look at that snow pile! Pretty impressive. One year...I don't know which, I recorded all of our snow falls. I think we ended up with a record amount that year. The piles were high enough for the visiting grand kids to want to sled off from!
ReplyDeleteThe crown is just terrific. I wondered how it was worn. Adorable and functional!!!!! Gosh, I do not envy your "June".
ReplyDeleteI saw that movie when it came out and enjoyed it, too. Helen Mirren is always good. That crown is lovely in both colors. June will still be here in June, it seems. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat crown ear warmer is lovely! What a neat pattern.
ReplyDeleteHooray for no snow for a bit!
I sure understand why you named that snow mound June - maybe should have been July. LOL The crown ear warmer is so cute - especially seeing it on a pretty young lady.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're ahead of the game with the snow. Hope you get a break from having more to shovel for a while. Great that Stacey loved her crown ear warmers, and that the movie you watched this time was more to your liking.
ReplyDeleteYour snow is OVER-The-Top WOW! I love the ear warmer. You are a fast creator
ReplyDeleteThat is even cuter when it is on someone's head--LOL!
ReplyDeleteBig snowbank this year!
Oh, I have that movie in my queue. Love Helen Mirren. :)
What a cute crown. It looks really good on her too. June is massive and I don't envy you at all. I keep hoping ours will start shrinking with the rain and warmer temps but the piles seem just as big. I'm glad you get a bit of a break from shoveling right now.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Betsy
Stacey looks regal wearing her crowns. The colors do bring out the color of her eyes.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you need a giant snowstick for June! The crown is beautiful and Stacey is lovely wearing it.
ReplyDeleteLove the "crown"! The first one reminds me of the statue of liberty!
ReplyDeleteThe crown ear warmer just highlights Stacy's beautiful face.
ReplyDeleteJune is busting out all over.
What a beautiful smile she has! Love the crown too.
ReplyDeleteI love the color of the first one. Did you have pattern?

DeleteI bet little girls would love those ear warmers. Maybe with a little bell or a sparkly bead on each point. Let's hope that June doesn't have to be renamed July!
ReplyDeleteI loved that movie. Where did you find the pattern for that crown?

DeleteCrown ear warmer? Sounds like a fun hat.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Stacy modeled the crown ear warmer. I was wondering how it would look once on. It ( and she) is very pretty.
ReplyDeleteThe crown looks nice and the snow lookss cold
ReplyDeleteI love the lighter colour on on Stacey, it brightens her so much. She's lovely either way though! It looks really cool on. I may have to pass that pattern on to my crocheting friends.
