So true. It's one of those dates that you will always remember where you were, what you were doing, and who you were with.

I have friends who lost their son at the Pentagon that day. Like most people I can picture that day so clearly in my mind.

The sight of seeing armed tanks lining the parkway on my way home that day will never leave me. It makes me think of those who have to live like that everyday. What a world we live in. It's all so sad.

Never, ever will I forget. A very good friend of ours worked in the Pentagon. His office was obliterated. He had just walked down the hall to a meeting or he would have been among the dead.
Too many have already forgotten.
Blessings,
Betsy

We must never forget. When we forget the enemy wins.

Never forget and honor those we lost.

We will not forget. My thoughts go out today to those who lost family and friends on that horrible day, and to those who are dealing with the aftermath even now.

You are so right. Every time I look at the calendar today, I get sad. We had a young business woman from our area with an appointment on the 92nd floor of one of the towers that morning... her first time ever in NYC. Heartbreaking. I promise not to forget.

Yes, Jacqi said it well...we honor those that passed and the bravery of those that lost loved ones...such a tragedy. It changed our nation forever.
