We had delicata squash for dinner last night. It's my favorite and I love this time of the year. Love your picture and hope you're feeling some better.

We have late sweetcorn being sold out of the backs of trucks still. They too have the pumpkins, squash, and gourds.

Thinking of you and your family. How is Mikey?

I think about putting out some pumpkin, but grow tired at the thought so I don't. I am still painting in the house. I paint for awhile then have to stop and rest my arm. Slow going. But I do have three rooms done and am now on the sunroom.

I love fall decorations. Here we just need the weather to catch up with the calendar.

I've put out some fall decor in the house, but nothing outside. We have a lot of ash and maple and pine trees in our yard - about 60 total. The ash are beginning to turn golden and the pine trees are covered with new pine cones this year. Our maples will turn red and orange long after the ash have dropped those gold leaves. I do enjoy the cooler temps and the colors of fall.

Tom got my tub of autumn decorations out of the attic. I'll have it all up by Oct. 1. Oh, and I washed up all of my summer short sleeved T shirts and moved them to another closet and brought back my long sleeved Ts. It has been an early autumn here weather wise, but leaves are just beginning to turn.

Love the look of the pumpkins and gourds....makes me want to make some pumpkin bread! We just finished off the bread pudding I made a few days ago. How are you two feeling? Hope you're starting to feel a little better each day. Rest, rest, rest and eat chicken soup! Praying for you two!

I love big displays of pumpkins and gourds but am not about to spend a lot so I have exactly one pumpkin by my front door. It looks lonely.
