10 years

I have been blogging ten years now.

Last year my daughter said “Mom go for ten.”  check mark

I wanted to write about the flood of 1997.  check mark

I wanted to write Midway Memories. check mark

There are some subjects I have totally ignored.  Perhaps I will get to them in year eleven God willing and the crick don’t rise.

orange Echinace

As is my custom…I give myself some flowers.  This time an Echinacea that is orange…with two bees and off to the side for good measure is a pesky old fly.

Blogging is a great hobby.  I am not perfect when it comes to spelling (no spell check on the software I use) or sentence structure…oh well. It is what it is.  Most times I just share what is on my mind…or something I took a photo of or something that was irritating me.  Sometimes I think Far Guy just reads my blog to find out if he is in the dog house or not…or if I am cranky.

Thank you for coming along on this blogging adventure!

I’ve been reading your blog nearly every day for many years. For sure over five years as part of my morning coffee. Watched your grands grow from little kids to big kids, and all your creative projects. Thanks for being a quiet part of my life. Keep on blogging!

I'm glad to be along for the ride! Before I left Minnesota I always figured we would meet for real, but now you are my daily link to the state of affairs in my favorite state, Minne-snow-ta. Here's to many more years of blogging! 🍻

I don't know how long I've been reading your thoughts but I enjoy them! The pictures of your glass decorations really make me smile - and I love Far Guy's thoughts and Chance's blogs too.

Your special version of sentence structure is perfect, so don't stop now. I enjoy every word you write and I'm glad to have been along for most of it. Ten years, huh? Funny how quickly they pass. You feel like a family member to me. :-)

I sit down in the morning with a cup of hot tea and read blogs, and yours is usually the first one on the list. I enjoy reading and love your photos and memories.

Love your blog, you have a bit of everything. I don't always comment, but I doubt I miss reading one. Can relate to your sense of humour and crankiness. I often wonder how we would get along if we lived next door ;-) And you amaze me that you post something everyday.

Congratulations on ten years! I have been following your blog for a couple of years and I enjoy it very much! Thank you for sharing with blogland all these years. I want to start a blog but I'm not sure I could keep up with one as well as you do. Do you have any tips for getting started blogging? Thanks for being here Connie!

As DJan said, you feel like a family member to me too, or at least a good friend I have known for quite a long time. I referred to you this morning at breakfast, mentioning your report of -32 temps and the snow measurement on your snow stick. One of our group, who originally came from Minnesota, appreciated your mention of a good layer of snow on the ground before the deep freeze. Even though we have never met, you are my go to person on life in Minnesota.

You started two years before me. I really don't even remember how I found blogspot. I know the school we forcing us to do school pages of ourselves and our classroom on a very bad blogging format. I was doing well with it but I wanted something of my own. You are a photo journalists and writer. You are also a historian and artist. Wife and mother is a good foundation for your work but you sure do go far beyond that when it comes to your themes. Sometimes I think we all are undiscovered at what we really should have become. Thank goodness that we have an easy format and technology that speeds up all of the processes to help us get the job done. You gotta write and take pictures for sharing so stick to it.

I have benn blogging along 10 years too! Lots of changes in our lives over this time span. When I feel miserable about our cold weather I look at how cold it is at your house and perk right up.
