Tooth and Dogs

One of these days I should count my teeth.  I kinda like Nitrous Oxide, it takes the edge off.

Yes I had a messy tooth...it had an abscess that they cleaned up, packed it with something that will dissolve and put in a couple of stitches.  Uffda...

I cannot say that they were a real organized Oral Surgery Office.  My prescription never got to the Pharmacy...and when Far Guy called back to the Surgery center they only sent one prescription in.  We finally left town without the pain reliever. Far Guy was disgusted...we waited in the parking lot of the Pharmacy just about an hour.   I was so ready to just get the prescription and head home...

Little Elvis enjoyed our stay and he had a sleep over in our room.

Miss Sadie was so happy to see us especially Far Guy.

The kids painted the living room and Jen got new curtains...and the popcorn ceiling is history.

It is a much brighter room!

Ouch, that really is not good!
I've only had one major thing done in a dentist's office as an adult and so far-- knock on wood -- it was not awful like this.

The rooms look wonderful with the new paint job. And it looks like the snow is mostly melted outside the windows!

Wishing you a speedy recovery from the dental surgery.
I can't imagine the work and mess that went into removing the popcorn ceiling. Good on them.

That is so sad! I hope you are feeling better.

Sorry things were so disorganized and you ended up going home without any pain relief. I'm sure you were as glad to see the dogs as they were to see you.

A little doggie love is good for the soul isn't it? Hope that tooth pain will be history now.

I sure hope your tooth is feeling better today. Do you have some pain relief at home? Dental work is never fun, although cleanings have never bothered me.
I imagine the pups were thrilled to see you two. Their grandparents are sources of even more love and pats. :-)
We removed popcorn ceilings in one of our houses and boy, was it messy. I'm sure that they're glad to have that done.
I'll be praying for you and your pain level.
Blessings,
Betsy

Ugh. At least you got to see your furry friends again.

My niece Paisley was staying with Mom and Dad while she went to college. But she finished up her first year last week and has now gone home. The dogs, and even cat Winnie (who likes no one but my Dad), are missing her.

I'm sure you'll be back for the pain killer.

My popcorn ceilings will have to stay until our house gets it's next owners. Really, I think they are fine.
I have had several tooth extractions. The pain came when I got dry socket. I hope your healing in uncomplicated.

I don’t like popcorn ceiling!

Sorry about your pain. I know it’s horrible. Better days to come.

How frustrating! The last thing you want to do is sit in the car for an hour after oral surgery. And then you didn't even get your pain medication--awk! I hope you are feeling okay. So nice to see the pups!

So sorry to hear about your tooth and then the big mess up with getting your prescriptions. Yikes....especially the pain reliever! Oh my! Hope you've gotten it by now and have headed back home. Glad you got to see your doggie friends and have a sleep over too. May things go better for you now...and hope far guy is feeling better too!

I hope you're managing okay without the pain medication.
Those doggie eyes just melt one's heart. I can imagine how happy they were to see both of you.

Ugh, you have my sympathy. Went through all that a few weeks ago myself. All the remedial work failed, antibiotics didn't "take" and I ended up losing two teeth. But blessed relief, the pain is gone.

I forgot to mention, Advil works quite well for dental pain.

Infuriating! And no excuse. If they schedule a tooth surgery, they should have had the prescriptions sent before hand so you could pick them up on the way and left straight for home. That is unacceptable. I hope you are feeling better.
