This week

I got to see baby Maziar who lives in Boston, he is my baby brothers Grandson.  I last saw Maz  when he was just a few weeks old.  He sure is cute and we enjoyed watching him play!

He is now 17 months old and came to see his Grandparents and Great Grandparents...I heard he liked the buttons on the bed at the Nursing Home where my Dad is.  By the way Dad is doing okay physically for the moment, however he did not know who I was on my last visit.

One day I got a package in the mail.

Mug rugs and dish cloths from Sam in Arkansas  a perfect gift!   Thanks Sam!!

Here is one of of my projects that I finished at Craft Retreat.

It is a mosaic pattern that is crocheted over a muslin zippered bag.  As you can see I still have plenty of yarn left!  Always fun to have a good supply of yarn for projects!  I have a number of muslin zippered bags waiting in the wings!

It’s heartbreaking when they don’t recognise you I went through that with my Dad. Take care x

That crocheted project would probably have taken me a year or so to do.
You sure are talented!

What a cutie pie Maziar is!

Sounds like your dad is doing okay sort of. Hopefully, he is not suffering from falls.

He's a cutie, all right. And you always seem to have a dozen projects going at once! :-)

I like the crocheted bag. I guess you sew the one you make on the muslin one?

Galla Creek, I begin the project by stitching a starter row of yarn stitches right near the zipper on the bag and then begin crocheting right on the bag!

I'm imagining just how much fun a toddler could have with the buttons on the bed. I'm so sorry to hear that your dad didn't know you. Dementia is so hard on the family members.

Maz is a cutie patootie, that's for sure. Look at that sweet face. :-). I'm so sorry to hear that your Dad didn't know who you were. That hurts so bad. I know we're eventually headed that way with Mom and it's heartbreaking. She has gotten so much more confused in the past few months.
As for that bag, I adore it. Do you make the muslin bags or buy them. I had no idea you crocheted right on the bag until I read your answer to Galla Creek. That is so neat. Your talents know no ends.
Blessings,
Betsy

How in the world do you get so much done! Maz is a cutie. I am so sorry about your Dad. Seems like just yesterday you two were going to bingo together. Time sure flies, doesn't it.

Maziar is one very attractive little boy. I'm glad you had a chance to see him again - children grow up so fast!
I remember my aunt getting so that she no longer knew any of her family - very hard, so big hugz for you my dear. Mxx

Such pretty colors in your bag. These look like fun little projects to do. Maz has an unusual name. He’s a cute little guy!

Well, when I saw that little crocheted purse I wondered how you did it because you said you didn't sew and sewing a zippered bag is kind of tricky. I didn't know you could buy already made muslin bags!
Your result is lovely.
Maz is pretty cute too. :-)

That little cutie is adorable! You are talented with your yarn work. It has to be hard to deal with you'd not knowing you. I'm sorry.

Maziar is a cute little guy. I wonder if Maziar is a family name? I've never heard it before.
I like the crocheted zipper bag. I can't imagine being able to make one.
