Progress

Progress is slow on my other Mosaic Crochet projects.

Here is Winter Wonderland.

The next section is rose and white...ornaments I think.  Hope it looks okay next to the burgundy and teal!

I started this project a long time ago! November 28, 2021.  Yup almost a year.   Oh well.  It might be another year before I get it done!

Grocery pickup was uneventful yesterday, it rained.

The Dollar Tree Store has Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas stuff out all at once.   I bought the Christmas bags and boxes I need for the wood carved  Christmas ornaments....a few more days and we will be done with that project!

I have a piece of needlepoint I began the year of our kids' 10th wedding anniversary. I think that was 2015! Still not done.
Good luck with it!

I feel like we are rushing life when I am in these stores!

Love love the Christmas mosaic. There is no deadline, it will always circle around.

Oh my - Winter Wonderland is going to be fabulous! Love that reindeer row in particular.

There should be a rule out there that no Christmas stuff comes out before Halloween is over. LOL

Most of our stores have already moved their Halloween stuff to clearance and Christmas is front and centre.

You two are amazing at how quickly you make and paint so many ornaments each year - - - as well as your Christmas cards. It sounds like right now you are ahead of schedule from some previous years. However I don't keep a calendar of your activities and am relying on my mind which might not be the best idea. Thank you once again for sharing your lives. You all are amazing in productivity, creativity, and getting back up and moving forward even when life gives you speed bumps that occasionally slow you down.

Beautiful work, both front and back!

I am always impressed by people who can do these intricate details with yarn, hooks or needles. I would be lost! Winter Wonderland is lovely.

Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, all at once together in a shop - sounds horrendous! :)

I really like the looks of this project so far.
I guess the holiday season is upon us now. It apparently starts with Halloween now.

The mosaic crochet is just beautiful! So finely detailed. I was in a couple of stores today and Christmas is everywhere... I'm not a fan of it being out before Halloween! Have a great weekend.

The mosaic crochet is absolutely stunning. You do such beautiful work!
We were in a $ store this morning with Halloween on one side of the aisle and Christmas on the other. Our Thanksgiving is over so that had been put away.

I'm old. I remember when Christmas things came onto the shelves after Thanksgiving. And that didn't show up until after Halloween. We're rushing life right on by.
Your mosaic crochet is so beautiful. I may try a small project after I have everything else done! If that ever happens.
Well done on getting everything done ahead of time for Christmas carvings. I want to win again! :-) I treasure your beautiful ornaments.
Blessings,
Betsy
